The restaurant has comfortable sitting place. Food was mild and had lots of variety. Spices were moderate, quantity was enough. I have had food at better places but this is good for a quick meal.

the restaurant has a large seating area and serves Indian food. the help are generous and the prices are appropriate. Eating is also okay. it has a chic orange and black color scheme that gives it a great ambiente. the Indian touch is given by traditional lamps on the walls. great if they are looking for Indian food.

I've been there a couple of times. Food is really good. I would recommend everyone to try it. However, the thing I've noticed about this place is that the waiters are slow. Some of them forgets your order or they don't bring any silverware. I...get that some of things should be eaten by hand because of the Indian custom .. but, I don't want to do it with hot food. beautiful place with seating on the front of the restaurant in beautiful weather or much if places in the back. extensive menu choice, but only in German, but waitress, who served me, spoke very good English. no alcohol. had the lamb balti, meat. was tender and rice was included in the price. Well, it could be better. reasonable prices, but make sure they take cash, as the machine was out of operation at the time of my visit.

Looking for a decent curry in Cologne? Then go to Basmati house in Severinstrasse. These guys are pro´s, service good food at a very good price. I just need to tell them to tone down the oil once in a while. Also, the best samosa...EVER!!! I´m serious, I´ve eaten my fair share of samosas incl in London the curry capital of the world and these guys are the gold medalists when it comes to samosas. Keep up the pace boys and stay ahead of the pack!!

This is indeed one of the best Indian restaurants anywhere. They cook right in front of you. You can get a quick meal, or spend an evening eating various Indian foods. Their ingredients are fresh, their chefs and service is great. They do a good...job of packing their takeaways. They have the best samosa of any place I have ever eaten. Every dish is excellent. They have a new location about 30 meters from the old one, so you cant miss it. The new place is big and nice! I am a frequent visitor! Voir le carte
