India Gate - Carte

I went there with my family and it was good though it took long time to come , tasty but not that much , I won't say I'll visit it again but maybe.

I've gone here a coupld of times while visiting Leipzig and enjoyed both times. The lunch menu is very good and affordable. Service is very fast. The meals themselves are very big and taste great. I would definitely go back again.

The decor etc is extremely dated !!! But we did request the food to be typically Indian and it was excellent!!! But it really is dirty and not something we would want to go back to . The owners should give it a coat of fresh paint at least !!!! Voir le carte

The service was quite nice and fast. I took the mixed vegetable grill as main course. It was delicious. The portion was more than enough. Yes, prices for beverages are higher than usual. However I knew beforehand, but the good food was really worth it.

traveling with the family, they decided that an Indian food would go down well, but it was very disappointing. the broth were good, but the sauces of the main dishes were thin and very high colored with little taste depth. they seemed to be more commercial mixtures than cook prepared. presumably a miss

Visited the India gate, whilst away on a boys weekend! The food was excellent and the portions more than adequate with massive portions of rice.Five of us all had different meals with no complaints at all.Chicken Madras was excellent ( and fairly HOT!!)Restaurant is upstairs and a little bit dated, but don't let that put you off! The staff here is wonderful and very attentive. They are more than willing to help and make sure that your dining out is great. I got the Butter Chicken and it was DELICIOUS. I would say it was a tad more sweet than I usually like mine, but the chicken was perfectly cooked and the curry delicious. The Basmati Rice was cooked perfectly and the Naan was amazing. It was thin and delicious.A must go to in Leipzig.

Huge menu, you will have trouble deciding what to eat. Salads for starters are huge one between two is enough. The garlic Naan are really nice. Tandoori chicken was divine. Service was attentive and fast. Seating available outside which is interesting for watching all the passersby. Currys were hot and served with warmers to keep warm on a cool evening. Tables a bit small for all the bits and pieces that come with the main courses.

Very simply appalling. Service, appalling; food, appalling; atmosphere, appalling! When we walked in and they turned over the stained table cloth and flicked the last diners remains onto the floor we should have walked out, sadly we didn't. Service was so bad we ended up going to the exit and waiting for them to find us in order to pay, that funnily was the quickest service we had seen all evening! Worst was the beer, poor beer in Germany how is that possible? Flat, stale, and left untouched, much like the food. Complain? Pointless given the staffs complete lack of interest or engagement.
