On our way back to Monopoli, we stopped for lunch at the first place we saw, turned out to be a Il Piatto Fumante, good service, very good pasta, nice antipasti, a bit noisy due to a group of ladies using the reception room, on the whole a nice lunch experience.

local little outside castellana, with tables both outside and inside, with dishes also for celiacs. we dined with linguine in the crust and then fried mixed. Very well. excellent service and good value for money. the local has a parking lot from which it is accessed to the local.

We went here on a recommendation. The service was appalling, the wine was undrinkable and the food so salty we simply couldn't eat it. I think this is the first time we've ever walked out of a restaurant hungry. To add insult to injury, it was quite isolated and we had to travel through several narrow lanes in the dark to get to it!
