today for lunch. had laughs linguini. was nice. friendly staff. nice relaxed feeling for the restaurant. eating nice and hot and salmon was fresh. would definitely recommend.

Had a meal pre theatre and it was really good, delicious food and good size portions. Friendly, pleasant service and nice atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend and will return.

Lovely restaurant, nice decorations, friendly staff and very reasonable price! The food was so delicious, their penne pollo is lovely and the profiteroles were to die for. One of the best restaurants around!

on Saturday night before the theater. the food and service are excellent, but the real bottom is that they are packed like sardines. we were so close to the other tables that they could clearly hear their talks about food allergies of women and the other HR problems during work!

We chanced on this little gem by accident on our way home from the theatre. It was bank holiday Sunday new year Wow so glad we found it. Lovely welcoming restaurant. Professional courteous staff and service. Food to die for. Will definitely make a...special visit here again . Just a really perfect establishment, couldn’t fault it in any way. One of the nicest restaurants we’ve been to in a few years

il palazzo is the art of Italian restaurant that she found years ago before the likes of pizza express, zizzi etc. it is a family-run, restaurant group and this is perfect for the palace theater (against) large selection of traditional Italian dishes, freshly cooked, huge portions. beautiful wine selection (we can have a few more on the glass please). add a (very) friendly, helpful staff and what more can they ask for a reasonable price meal.

Have been here before a few times , pre COVID , but this time was very disappointed. I had pork fillet and my husband had chicken , both were served with frozen potato slices and bland steamed broccoli and carrots absolutely tasteless. Just having...fresh potatoes and some roasted root vegetables would have made such a difference , surely the chef can see when he sends it out that it is so bland . The bruschetta was very nice though . Such a shame , we were asked if our food was ok but no point to saying it’s uninspiring when they are happy to send food out like that !. Service was very good though

Very disappointed we have been there a few times before and the service was good- I booked a few weeks ago table for people for my mum's birthday- when I booked I asked if they would put a candle in...mum's dessert and write Happy Birthday on it as most restaurants do) they said yes no problem I explained that we didn't want to bring a cake as we were going straight to the theatre afterwards) when we arrived- I said to the person that took the order it is mum's birthday- no reaction and the dessert came no mention of her birthday or any candle if they had said we can't do that' fine we would have sorted out a cake but having said they would then didn't bother was disappointing- food was nice...

I gave above all because the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and the staff was fantastic. Unfortunately, eating was not the same standards. the brot and the oil starter is prefabricated in the ground heated brot not too dissimilar what they can buy in super markets. I had the penne primavera and my wife the cannelloni, both lubricated as if they were bought and heated in mealtimes. the chicken in the penne primavera was the cheap, bought, boiled cubes that was only thrown in and the garden veg was tasteless without texture. it was sent back. the cannelloni was pathetic, but embarrassing from an Italian restaurant.
