One of the best places in Swadlincote to go! Tasty food and cider. I love decor and music. Polite staff however little bit slow. We waited a while for our bill, but we didn't mind it as we weren't in a rush. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Food was brilliant and this was topped off with the incredibly helpful and attentive staff. A select menu that still gives a great variety to choose from. A fun, friendly and modern, uplifting yet homely vibe throughout. The staff here certainly add hugely to the experience. went to Ice and a Slice for the first time last night, not realising it had changed hands. we had a brilliant night, the magician (Eddie Young) was brilliant and the food was great! really great atmosphere and lovely service, will definitely going back soon! New management are a shambles. Couldn’t get all food out on time for a large party. Missed off food and was very disorganised. Booked a party here and the room wasn’t ready it had customers eating while we were setting up. During our event they let randoms sit in our section and they were very stuck and tried to start a fight. Overall really bad service, management and organisation. They have cancelled booking last minute for parties, weddings and it’s not good enough. They just don’t care to be honest. When food arrives it’s of a good standard. Real shame the food is good but lack of service, no management. Out of 21 dish's orders only 15 made it to the table. For my mums birthday . Another member of staff on a jolly (entertaining a table, plying them with drinks and god know what else) more like a night club than a restaurant/bar a real real shame to see this happen to a lovely place .... as business owner myself, I tried to help .. and feel sorry for the existing staff.. as no direction... and communication was given until things went wrong they Need to be one step ahead, and to understand less is more (not over booking the place).
