I've had this dish in Vietnam many times, and I was very surprised that the dish here at Huong Viet could keep up with the Vietnamese originals. Many times Vietnamese restaurants outside Vietnam are unable to recreate the authentic flavours because of the difficulty involved in obtaining the proper ingredients.
