Ate and drank in the Bistro and Wine bar for an 18th Birthday. The food, the service and the ambience was first class. Head of Service Jill went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure we had a beautiful meal and was attentive from start to finish.....would highly recommend xxx

We were staying in town for the weekend and looking for somewhere to eat and decided on the Horseshoe Saddlers. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Even though the pub was busy with it being a Saturday night our food came out quite quickly. We both had steak which were really tender, generous portions and tasty served with loads of pepercorn sauce. A lovely meal. Service: Dine in Voir le carte

Just had dinner at The Horseshoe and Saddlers- The Bistro upstairs. Every item on the menu was tempting and it was difficult to decide what to choose. Our server Jenny recommended the duck and also recommend a very nice Pino Grigio. I could not have been more pleased. The food was unbelievably delicious. Actually everyone at the table raved about how good the food was. Jenny was very helpful and knowledgable. We'll be back!

4 of us went to the Horseshoe for food yesterday evening. We didn’t want to go to the restaurant and thankfully because we went early enough (just before 6pm) there were plenty of tables when we arrived. It’s a good job we did go early though because by the time we were leaving every table was full and there were people waiting for tables. Service was friendly, food was great and prices very very good. It was great to see Norman still there! He lectured in “the tech” when I was there many many years ago Would highly recommend the bar area for food. Keep up the great work!

We visited Saddlers restaurant on a busy Saturday evening as a large family group, celebrating a christening. From the moment we booked it the staff could not have been more helpful in arranging the evening. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, the service was fantastic, the food was delicious and prompt. A special mention must go to Jill, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything ran smoothly. Her interaction with customers is amazing, and her friendly personality and kind nature was apparent as soon as we met her. She is a credit to the bar and restaurant. Voir le carte
