"This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I came specifically for the carvery, which was absolutely delicious. The venue is lovely and well-maintained. The only minor issue was that while the staff were very nice when we approached them, they weren't very attentive and it was difficult to get their attention. It's not a major problem since they were pleasant, but it was a bit frustrating to have to get up and ask for things. Overall, I will definitely return and hope that the service was just an isolated incident."

The food was very tasty especially the desserts. However as a vegetarian I was disappointed that there was only one veggie choice so hope it won't be the same meal next time we go. It was very good but would like a change next time.

I'm not particularly a fan of carveries, as I was really looking forward to the famous steak pie that Kings Croft is known for. Unfortunately, the website didn't mention that it was carvery only on Sundays. That said, the carvery was truly exceptional; all the food was cooked to perfection, and the staff were friendly and polite.
