"I am gluten intollerant. On the menu there are only two dishes gluten free: a rocket salad with goat cheese and omelette with potatoes. I warned the waitress: her first reaction was bewildernment...she mumbled something like...we are sorry but we do not have anything. i explained her that according to the menu I could have only two dishes and I wondered whether I could still have the omelette even if it was listed within the breakfast menu. After 5m she came back and explained that breakfast is until 4:00 p.m. so that I could have omelette (presume they still had eggs; they were just unfriendly). She did not offer as it often th case any variation on one of the existing dishes; so I ended up having the rocket salad with goat cheese which is litterally a mountain of rocket with few corn seeds in between, traces of tomatoes or bell pepper and a littl but tasty goat cheese patty with honey."

a tired and unwelcoming waiter waiting for menus customers on hold long awaited bill the waiter increases the bill without the customer's knowledge rude gesture towards the customer what more can be said? the place has lost its spirit for quite a while, unless a better recognised and more motivated team makes it possible to regain a cruising speed!

Thats the problem if you d like to give to the generous interior of a very nice Frankfurt Gründerzeithaus, kind of victorian, a modern, alternative and also maybe persian style. It feels wrong and it is wrong.. This style you can give to numerous modern buildings but please not destroy the few buildings which survived W 2 and the after war destruction. The interior architekt earned money for the wrong place and creates a ethetcal desaster. Very sad. Please all of you, learn more about history of arts and architecture...
