this place is lovely for lunch the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great the server was very happy and chatty and was very attentive

It is unfortunate that this restaurant was destroyed in a fire a few weeks ago. We were planning to have breakfast here before our trip to Harbour Park next door.

Great value for the money. The burgers, scampi gammon were delicious. The fish cakes were a bit disappointing, small and overcooked (hence the loss of star) but the salad bar more than made up for it. What we were most impressed about though was the service, Marie was an excellent waitress. Very friendly, attentive a credit to your restaurant. She’s a star xx

I've eaten here a few times over the years, and in general the service is good and the food okay. Typical Harvester with good visits and not so good visits. Sadly on Thursday 10 August 2023, the restaurant burnt to the ground. Too soon to say if it will be rebuilt, but if it is, it probably will take at least a year, maybe two years before we see it back again.

Our server Mark was delightful and the food was excellent. However, we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, despite many staff members walking past us. We ordered two rounds of drinks, but both times they did not arrive until we specifically asked for them after another 10 minute wait. I ordered food for takeout from Harvester but was disappointed with my experience. The food arrived cold, some meals were missing, and all the desserts were missing as well. When I called to address the issue, the lady suggested contacting Just Eat for a refund, but we wanted the food we ordered. She then informed me that the missing items were actually waiting for us to pick up, even though we had paid for delivery. This kind of mishap seems to happen every time we order from there, so we had previously stopped ordering. Unfortunately, 6 months later, the same issues persist, leaving us feeling disappointed and ruining our evening.

At 3pm, I just wanted a drink with wifi. I am always happy with the wifi here, but after lunch, the mess was not cleaned up. There were two staff members behind the quiet bar, and it didn't seem like they were understaffed. However, the carpet was full of stuff dropped by earlier customers. I had to ask the waitress to wipe the table. There were tables available in the restaurant area, but the bar area was full of people eating. They offer cheap drinks and meals with a salad bar, which is popular. Unfortunately, there is no view of the nearby sea from any seats. There is plenty of paid parking onsite. It was high season, so the restaurant was busy. However, high season should also mean high...

Arrived at this restaurant during a chaotic early evening rush. The host was friendly and informed us that since we hadn't made a reservation, we could sit in the bar area, which we agreed to. Our table was promptly cleaned for us. The bartender, however, did not seem very interested in serving us and took a long time to prepare our drinks. I ordered mushrooms for my starter followed by a salad bowl. The starters arrived quickly, but the mushrooms were lukewarm. The salad bowl was decent, but lacked croutons and beetroot, and the presentation was not very neat. Despite this, the food we did have was okay.
