"Ordered grilled platter for two for our dinner tonight.There was so much !!!!Enough for us to enjoy for our lunch tomorrow.I made a mistake with the on line order but I rang the restaurant immediately and was able to cancel and reorder the correct meal.Dips, bread and salad were fresh and tasty and all the rest was well cooked and presented.I have eaten in the Poseidon on a number of occasions and the takeaway food is exactly the same excellent standard as the food served in the restaurant.Thank you Poseidon for a most enjoyable and excellent value for money meal."

"Fantastic little restaurant- vital to book to avoid disappointment. Really interesting and different menu, reasonably priced as is the wine. The halloumi fries were crispy and delicious. "This was the worst Indian I have ever had. The woman who served me when I picked my order up was rude and sullen. She was shouting at another member of staff. He seemed scared of her. I ordered onion bhajees and there wasn't an onion in sight. I don't know what the hell I got but it was disgusting and actually made me sick; it was dry and so bitter. I had to throw them in the bin. It put me off the rest of the meal. Some of the starters were very greasy. I would never go to this place again."

"Called in at the Wimpy one lunchtime this week and it was like stepping back in time to a retro (and better) fast food experience. I’m old enough to remember going to Wimpy Birkenhead as a child in the age of red and white plastic tables, and although it’s still in the exact same location, it now looks modern and more welcoming. The food was great cheeseburger perfectly cooked, on a fresh white bun with lettuce and diced onion and thick, crisp fries; and a tender delicious chicken wrap and the table service, cutlery and china plates were a refreshing improvement on the usual burger experience. The owner was friendly and keen to ensure our order was exactly as we wanted it, and that we had every sauce condiment we asked for. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and will be back to try the Christmas burger. Highly recommended."

"for the first time I visited cargo this fish restaurant when I walked one day at the pierkopf. my friend and I decided to try it for lunch. when entering the staff was very welcoming. the atmosphere is relaxed and the location of the restaurant is directly at the river with good views. concerning eating and service, I can only say that it was excellent. we both decided to try their muddles. cooked for perfection and a good portion served with delicious brot and delicious chips. the manager was really friendly and chatting. the pricing is good that it will not break the bank. there is a good selection of fresh fish dishes and they explain whether there is fish of the day on the menu. I would highly recommend to come to cargo when they enjoy fish. there are steak on the menu aswell and also vegetarian options. worth a visit. I'm back."
