"We are not adventurous eaters and our waitress was very pleasant and patient with us explaining what was in the dishes, how they were cooked etc. We sat in a booth, nice and private so we could have a conversation. An appetizer was brought out for us to nibble on, flatbread, dip and carrot and celery sticks, while waiting for our food which came in a timely manner. We both chose avocado and prawns as a starter, followed by two different lamb dishes, both came piping hot and nicely presented. The portions are large! It was my wife's birthday and the staff placed a lit candle in her piece of cheesecake and sang Happy Birthday, what a lovely touch."

"We are fortunate to have a strong Nepalese community in our area, with some excellent Nepalese restaurants to choose from. This particular restaurant is like a cozy Nepalese cafe, with only a few tables but a bustling takeaway service. The food is outstanding, comparable to what I have enjoyed in Kathmandu and elsewhere in Nepal. Prices are very reasonable, and it is clear that many Nepalese patrons dine here. We were recommended this restaurant by a Nepalese friend, and we highly recommend it as well."

"I am writing to express my positive customer experience with The OLD Mill Kent As an international Google reviewer, I travel the world to document my experiences at various establishments I want to share my humble opinion about the excellent service provided by Glenn Wilders, GM, and Jordan Upon seeing the beautiful building along the roadside, I, a first-time visitor from Malaysia, stopped by with my daughter for some food and drinks. The garden was clean and well-maintained, and we were warmly greeted by Glenn Jordan. The drinks were tasty, and the chairs were comfortable, which was important for me due to my back issues. The atmosphere and decor exuded a sense of community spirit, making us want to stay longer. The bar was clean, and the toilets were smelling fresh. As a reviewer, it's easy to write negative comments when things go wrong, so it gives me great pleasure to say that this wasn't the case. "We were on our way back to Dover from London and had stopped off at the nearby Outlet Centre for some essential shopping. Feeling peckish before our return ferry to France, I looked up on Tripadvisor where we could get a nice evening meal. I found The Riverside Inn which looked promising. It being a Friday evening I was a bit worried about whether we could still get a table for 4 persons, but the lovely lady who took my call was very positive and extremely helpful. You can actually walk here over a bridge to this pub from the Outlet Centre but we took the car and parked right outside for free. The same young lady greeted us warmly and showed us to our table. I couldn't resist a decent pint of London Pride and then ordered the full rack of ribs with crispy sweet potato chips which were delicious. My son went for a modest sized chicken dish and the same sweet potato chips. My German friends struggled a bit to make themselves understood but our polite server was patient and helped them out. They also went for fruity ciders, both the alcoholic and non alcoholic versions. All good. By the time that we had left, later that same evening we were surprised and disappointed for the owners/staff that they were no other customers. We really loved this place, and we would encourage you to visit if in the area."
