"First off, we had booked a time but were kept waiting for our table to become available. Then after having waited for the table the cutlery was filthy and when our drinks were served the glasses were similarly not clean. We usually have a lovely waitress but she unfortunately wasn 't on duty that night. When we made our food selection were told that there was no chicken available at 7.15pm ????? We were told it was a popular dish ! So that makes it better ? This is actually the THIRD time in the last year this has happened at this Whiteley Harvester so the food management is atrocious and someone needs to get to grips with quality and quantity control and more importantly the cleanliness of cutlery and glassware disgusting. There is no excuse for filthy cutlery and cloudy glassware. We left the restaurant without eating and went to an alternative Harvester The Bucanneer in Fareham where the ambiance was totally different, welcoming, the tables and cutlery and glasses were clean and the staff member serving us attentive. The comparison between the two restaurants !!!!! We won 't be going to the Whiteley Harvester after this third experience in a year and won 't be recommending it to anyone which is a shame because it was a convenient place to eat that is if that actually had half of what is on their menu !"

Mixed grill more like mixed brill, it was amazing all cooked to perfection served quickly and hot all the he other food on the table looked great too.

OK breakfast and good value,do not usually frequent The Harvester but was one of the better breakfasts we have tried and some of them are way more expensive.Unlimited coffee and a decent breakfast for a tenner so quietly impressed.

Hadn’t booked a table but they got us a table on a busy wedensdsy evening, placed our order and got a bowl for complimentary salad, glass for bottomless drinks. Waited no time at all and got our meal. Lovely half chicken with spare ribs. Meat on ribs fell off bone and chicken was lovely. Went to pay the bill and had 40% knocked off for having a voucher on there app
