Hardy's Pub - Carte

Just been for a meal with the wife kids and friend. Had a fantastic meal that was really enjoyed. Service was spot on and had a very relaxing atmosphere. If you have not had the chance to eat there yet I would 100% recommend it. Only negative was that they have taken chicken wings off the menu.

Well worth a visit to Hardys, got a little lost when driving but super glad we did. The Korean noodle bowl was fab and ask the chef to add a touch of heat if that’s your thing, I wish I had..but the dish was still tasty. Wonderful service and helpful waitress with narrowing down choices. Wish I had room for dessert.

I recently tried the ox cheek lasagna with garlic bread at this restaurant and it was hands down one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had. The dish was filled with real meat shreds and was absolutely delicious. The staff were also very accommodating to our party member with a nut allergy. Three years ago I said to my hubby “what Mayland needs is a place for women to go that’s non threatening and fun, like a cocktail and tapas bar”! It seems that Stuart, owner of Hardy’s, was listening. I have just got back from there, his new cocktail tables and bar area are lovely, the tapas was very reasonably priced £4 a dish or four dishes for £15) and the passion fruit mojito . I’m definitely going back but next time with my girlfriends.

Popped into Hardys for dinner with the family on my way home from work. Always greeted with a smile and the food is good. Just simple good old fashioned pub food with a few extra dishes such as fajitas to take care of those that want something different. We are by no means regulars but probably get to eat here every 3-4 months. Can highly recommend Stuart and his team who are always willing to do anything extra that you ask for. Very accommodating!

The service was excellent and the small menu offered a variety of options. Even though there was nothing on the specials board when we visited midweek, all the meals were freshly prepared and delicious. I requested some extras that weren't listed on the menu and they were happy to accommodate. Food was quite nice. But, places that put the cheap @rappy sauces on the table are basically saying that they don’t really care about serving quality food. Why they do this is beyond me! If I buy something from a pub or restaurant, why would I want put rubbish mustard or brown sauce on it?? If you put this stuff on tables, then I assume this is the quality of the ingredients in the kitchen. Please take a bit of pride in what you do, and don’t skimp on stuff like this.

I was staying at the marina for the evening so thought I’d try this local pub. Well I wasn’t disappointed. It was only me and my dog but was made to feel very welcome. I didn’t have any food so cannot comment on that but the beer (I was drinking the Pravha) was very good! The dog was made very welcome and was offered water. The staff and customers were all friendly. They had live entertainment and nice vibe! What more can you want? Give it a try I’m sure you will enjoy!

We have visited many times before and enjoyed previously, we was really disappointed on our recent visit. Not only with the food but the service too. I ordered the cod and chips the cod was horrible the batter was slimey and so was the cod couldn’t eat much of it all. My daughter ordered the lasagne which was covered in so much cheese it made it greasy and she had to scrape it off to be able to eat it and the salad had so much dressing on it was sloppy. My partner ordered the scampi which had been cooked for too long so it was dry. Service was quick taking our orders but the chef was bringing out the food which makes me wonder what the waitresses were there for. Usually when we visit you get... Voir le carte
