"We had a wonderful family dinner at this restaurant for the first time today, and we absolutely loved it. We are grateful for the excellent service and hospitality, along with the generous portion sizes of the food. The meal started with delicious hummus and fresh bread, but the highlight was the Beirut Star mixed grill that we shared amongst the three of us. The chicken, lamb, juices, and sponge were all delicious, and the fresh flatbread was the perfect accompaniment. A great dining experience for the whole family."

"I am a HUGE Cote fan have gone on a regular basis for years with friends family in Glasgow London. Most recently in December Visited last night with friends was embarrassed as I chose to eat there booked telling them it was great tasty food, great value great wines. food was bland, not great, not a lot of it they only had 3 types of gin drinks were slow to come had to be chased on 3 occasions restaurant was only at best half full, so no idea why we had to continually chase drinks that did not arrive. I really don't enjoy posting this review as previously I have always enjoyed the food had a good dining experience liked the set menu a la carte choice. It looks like maybe the cost of living crisis has hit the chef recipes/ingredients/quality have dipped significantly. None of my friends had previously been to Cote so not a great experience for them on my recommendation"

"booked weeks in advance based on recommended. ordered and had to wait 30 minutes for eating. I had the vegan cheeseburger with speck and the vegan poutine that was delicious and I enjoyed. I was amazed that we need her table back in 15 minutes. we had not been told at the time of booking or at the time of arrival this evening; in the grunde “we had gotten their money out now”. shocking customer service or lack of it. updated by previous review on 2021-10-01"

"we started with a plate of popadoms and another of sixteen pakora, four of four different types: haggis, vegetables, hues and fish all perfectly cooked. there were four adult and two children and we all chose our own pornstars and shared three bowls. I had a swell that was light, spicy and wonderful. others had garnel, chicken or sweet dishes, which they all enjoyed. we drank kingfisher beer that they have in the house, and we brought a bottle of red wine on which we paid a nominal carry for cork. an excellent meal."

"I'm here, really good food! both had to start bruscheta. Nice. only negatiw for me were the discs of the raw garlic in it. we both had it. we had huh and stornoway blackpudding on kartoffelmash and berry jus that was fantastic and penne arabbiata was great. we ordered garlic bread that was massive! Maybe next time order half a part. great food, service and wine. hidden gem and will be back!"
