"a really great caffeine with beautiful view! the name of the caffeine says everything. very angled construction with a lot of charm. we liked it very well here. the staff is friendly and we were served quickly. You don't have to wait long until you eat. the parts are sufficient in any case, here you will be fed. the prices are reasonable. also coffee and cake fans come here to their cost. big pieces of cake and torte and many choice! a dream! we like to come back and can only recommend this caffeine. small tip: on sunny days or nice weather prefer to reserve a place before departure. it's going on a lot."

"We’ve been coming the Fischbachau for the last twenty years and have often eaten at either the Klosterstueberl or the Gasthaus zu Post. The Klosterstueberl is located in a beautiful building and has both homely interiors and a wonderful terrace for sitting outside. We always...visit following a day of hiking in the area and therefore look forward to a hefty portion of a Bavarian classic. Yesterday we found the menu had changed and included new touches like “pork cutlets with Iberico ham and chorizo”. This already raised suspicions and when the food came it unfortunately was not very good. We had breadcrumb fried fish which was a horrible consistency and lacked any seasoning except hefty amounts of garlic in the slightly burnt crust, I found mine inedible. Our side salads also included a piece of water melon which is a sure sign that the chef has changed and things are going downhill. All in all the setting is beautiful and I would recommend sticking to the absolute basic dishes of schnitzel, schweinsbraten and Gulasch. However, it’s a shame that they are trying to “modernise” and really doesn’t suit the establishment."

"Von der Rückfahrt vom wunderschönen Schliersee Richtung Rosenheim waren wir mit 5 Personen auf einen Einkehrschwung im neu renovierten Landgasthof / Hotel "Rubins Alter Wirt" in dem wirklich sehr stilvoll eingerichteten Restaurant bekamen wir nach herzlicher Begrüßung sofort eine Speisekarte vorgelegt, die Getränke kamen sehr schnell und gut gekühlt ( ausser der Rotwein in perf. Zimmertemp. ) Der in die Nase steigende angenehmen leichten und feinen Aromen aus der Küche ließen uns schnell bestellen. Ich will hier keinen Roman schreiben will komme ich auf den Punkt. Wir waren alle von der Qualität des Essens sehr positiv überrascht und sehr zufrieden, so dass wir den kompletten restlichen Abend bei guter Stimmung und sehr süffigen Ayinger Bierspezialitäten sowie den vom Wirt empfohlenen Weinen die Zeit sowie die leider auch in Bayern geltenden Promillegrenzen vergaßen. Nur dem, auf die im Hause vorhandenen Zimmer hinweisenden Wirtspaar Rubin aus Kärnten ist der weitere Fortbestand unser Führerscheine zu verdanken. Erst am nächsten Morgen beim Erwachen konnten wir die jetzt nicht mehr verschwommenen Bilder der erwähnenswert tollen Zimmer und hochmodernen Bäder positiv überrascht wahrnehmen.Wir können diesen Landgasthof in Hundham nur bestens weiterempfehlen."

"We were there tonight and ordered a baked pork chop and a cheese plate.On the way the pork chop was tender and good. This is true price performance. The cheese plate was disappointing. 6 very thin slices of cheese and a corner of soft cheese would be brought to the table. The plate on which the cheese bread could be prepared was delivered. Unfortunately, the butter listed on the menu was missing, which came only to demand. Two mistakes in ordering and in a restaurant that was barely visited today are not convincing. Where now with 6 thin slices of cheese (which, by the way, tasted well) when you get only two small slices of bread. Just eat the cheese! That was better, because the bread lacked any freshness. The whole thing for almost 14 euros. We are used to better things.Sometimes a plate dish would have some fresh green in the form of some salad leaves or cucumber slices or a cheese plate a bit of crimson, because the eye eats with.So in total only 3 stars"

"Ein sehr ordentliches Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Wir haben im Haupthaus übernachtet. Weiterhin gibt es dort sehr gutes Essen und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Es liegt sehr ruhig eingebettet zwischen den Bergen. Kann man nur bestens empfehlen."
