"Decker's is best known for its amazing cakes, so inventive and delicious. Try the rhubarb meringue for instance. Outdoor, indoor and upstairs tables with riverside view. Big coffee, teas and drinks menu, and light lunches too, all excellent. There's an inviting breakfast menu that you could spend half the day on. If you're there in the autumn, they do "zwiebelkuche mit neuwein" - traditional onion tart with the new season's wine which is deceptively drinkable but can be lethal."

"Today in the late afternoon after a spa visit to the VITA CLASSICA in Bad Krozingen we took a walk through the spa park and the city centre. We wanted to find a suitable place for dinner. In the house SONNE told us a Greek, the CORFU, from outside. Amazingly we found that almost all tables were already occupied at 5:25. So we stormed the place! Several female and two male service personnel were eager on the way to satisfy the guest group. Instead of welcoming the question whether we had reserved. If we get out a good hour, we should stay. We shouldn't. We were then led to a table in the next room. The ambience of the restaurant reminds more of an honorable wine room; only a few figures and pictures of Greek coastal regions on the walls gave some Greek flair. The cards came very fast; also the drinks. But there was the supplement salads large, rich in variety, all fresh varieties already at the table! Record suspected service time! The two main dishes, 1x food manufacturers to 11,60 € and 1x Syrtaki plate to 13,90 € needed a few minutes more, due to the fresh preparation of grill meat and potato chips. Even the salads were lush, the two main dishes were in nothing, and we were more than fed. both dishes were very good; But we couldn't find any culinary highlights. DIe toilets were very clean and also gave no reason to criticize. We were more than satisfied with the rich quantities and good taste with the overall performance and can now understand why the place was so well visited. The waiting times that are not actually available contributed to this; it was almost creepy how fast everything was before us at the table! "A small local eatery near the Hotel Baren, it had attentive staff and really good food. We ordered the creamy white asparagus soup which was thick and had chunks of white asparagus in it. I loved the flavor, it was very light tasting. I also ordered the steamed white asparagus covered with hollandaise sauce with herbed potatoes on the side. It was super delicious and fresh! It was my first time tasting their local delicacy and it was worth it! Th sauce wasn't overly seasoned, but goes well with the asparagus. The herbed potatoes was cooked well, and tasted light as well. There's no parking lot so just park along the street."

"Horrible service Bad service, rude waiter. Looks like cost German place but seemsto be. tourist trap. For sure foreign tourists are treated as ****, To Germans (or were it his friends super friendly. Id only they had to pay his wage...I speak German fluently as...I studied for year in Germany but to know all culinary terms.. I asked several questions like “ what is meerettich”’; horesradish or “ what is exactly bamberger oder nuernberger wurst”. Then the waiter explained (tall darkhaired glasses) but never offered us to bring us the English menu and I know see from other reviews he had actually one. When we wantes to order “wein schorrle” again on a patronising tone told us that thus was just rubbish a mix of water and some cheap wine. So we ordered a glass of real wine. Food was brought and we told the children to say “danke” but they said he is throwing the plates without him saying bitte. I had to agre with them despite the fact that we wanted to show them what good education is. I hope this waiter is not what the standard Bamberger stands for... we went to eat today to “Little italy” great food service and waitress was Italian. She deserved her “trinkgeld” especially as she didn’t refer to it herself as some other German waiters did. Because we are tourists? Conclusion: don’t go there certainly not a a foreign tourist it is “Germans first service” close to xenofobic https"

"The Eden hotel restaurant is a decent establishment serving rather large portions of traditional food. I had the pumpkin soup with ginger and coconut and the veal saltimbocca. It was not particularly sophisticated, it tends to be on the salty side and a little bit...overcooked. However there is nothing terribly wrong with the food, the atmosphere is pleasant and the waiting staff are very friendly and professional. The wine selection is large and interesting, including smaller volumes corresponding to a third of a bottle glasses, mL). The prices are quite moderate considering the generous amount of food served."
