"Went for a meal with my brother at short notice and have to say it was the best food I have had for a long time. Pheasant ballotine for start, confit duck leg for main, which had every taste bud sensation, then finished with lemon meringue and rhubarb…wow! Can’t believe that this standard of food is within walking distance for me. It really was first class food! Well done Julie, Patrick and the team."

"First time I have been since lockdown in caravan for over a year...not disappointed at all..well organised ...friendly reception by senior and junior members of staff ...relaxed ...Good specials choice and a great menu overall...would like to try it all ! Choice not easy ..crab risotto starters lovely..not a small portion..Sunday roast great portion and no need for that downer where you have to ask for more gravy !.. "We came to Milanos yesterday afternoon with friends who have been before and raved about it and I can understand why now . The restaurant is beautiful , staff go above and beyond and the food was amazing and not over priced . New gin cocktails menu which was perfect . Very relaxed and chilled with beautiful views . They have private rooms for family events that were perfect for celebrations birthdays , anniversary’s . We will be back . Thank you Milanos"

"I intended to eat at Owd Nels, but it was too busy, so I decided to head home. Instead, I went to the White Bull in Eccleston, but it was packed and the beer garden was closed, so I ended up at the Black Bull. Our two dogs were warmly welcomed there. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making the ordering process a breeze. I tried the chili chicken, burritos, and two club sandwiches, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, especially for the price; everything came to £40. I definitely want to visit again!"
