"Unassuming but... This large restaurant is casual and unassuming but don’t let that fool you. The food is “brilliant”! Our saag bhaji was well made and had an interesting ingredient in it that made it outstanding. We discussed it with the chef and he agreed with our finding as to what it was and what made the dish so flavorful and tasty. The bangain bharta was very delicately flavored with cardamom a first for us. The paneer shashlik was well presented and had great taste although I would have preferred a slightly stronger marinate. The service was quick, friendly with a touch of special attention by the owner. We ended the meal with a hot cup of masala tea which hit the spot. All in all a very satisfying and pleasant dinner. Reminded us of our home cooking. Give this place a shot you are bound to enjoy the experience."

good food, nice choice of options. the personal was friendly, but we had to remind them that we were menus and later we were cutlery (food had already arrived.)

excellent meal, served in a timely way, eating was fresh, the chicken bhuna was superb, like the tailor-made mushroom curry and plau rice for my vegetarian woman.

We always receive a warm welcome and enjoy delicious food at this restaurant. David took great care of us and we will definitely be back. This is one of our top choices for dining out.

I'm sorry, I don't know what happened! it should have been a 5-star review as it was amazing to eat. the vegetarian choice was really impressive and enjoyed eating. we will definitely be back and would recommend everyone.

This is our favorite Indian/Nepali restaurant in Falmouth. We have never been disappointed with the food or service. Our favorite dishes are the Duck Gurkhali, Lamb Rogan Josh, Thali (meat or vegetarian), and Tarka Dal. The prices are very reasonable as well.

we were pampered with the quality and standard of Indian restaurants that we have eaten, so we were slightly disappointed with the gurkha, friendly service, but not much atmosphere if we might lack the restaurant a domestic authentic Indian feeling (consider it is much Nepalese) and eating that we have eaten was not so spicy or tasteful as we hoped. hopefully, another visit will prove our first impressions to be wrong.

the gurkha recently visited to celebrate a special birthday with the family. we went on Sunday, the buffet menu and we all enjoyed the choice very much. the service was very good and both chefs raj and abi came to say hello and had a chat with us. it was a good value for money and if we just found this place, we will definitely return soon. we were cared for by all and especially sebastian was very friendly and polite. delicious food!
