The meat soaked up the sweet-and-salty broth of plump and springy snails, bacon and melt-in-yer-mouth shallots very nicely. Simple combinations but brilliantly executed.

Outstanding. The focus here is on the pie! I have revisited this place since my last review and still believe it's outstanding. I can't resist the pie. Without a doubt, the best in London, if not the entire UK!

Great Queen Street has a great vibe, its casual, dark and kind of loud. I love when you can see the kitchen in a restaurant and even hear it a little, you get this with Great Queen Street, its dramatic and I just love that. Voir le carte

The main dish was tasty, cooked well, lying on top of the beans and tomato sauce. It was also a fun dish to eat – the finger bowl provided giving permission to pick up the bits to get the last remnants of the meat off the bones.

tasting modern British kitchen. a casual restaurant in covent garden with great value for money modern British cuisine. I recommend a reservation because it can be quite busy during lunch and evening meal. like the atmosphere of the place and the great value for money.

This restaurant is excellent. I always enjoy coming here. They serve the best pie I have ever had. Whenever I visit, I find it difficult to order anything other than the pie because it is so delicious! However, the few times I have tried other dishes, they have always been great. 9.5/10 for the service on the counter and 7.5/10 for food. it is very busy restaurant, so highly recommended to book a table. we had no reservation and went last night. there's only a place to stand. it turned out that we get the best service of all time! super good and fast service from the staff at the bar. highly recommended! the bottom was the quality and part of the food. my dish:Great plaice was too big for a person and Runny sauce. my man court:crab gratin was quite small for pornstars. the taste of eating was in order. easy. next time I'll order more meat dish. A bookable Anchor and Hope. The foods great, properly cooked. Simple faire done well. The only thing that I've had thats disappointed is the Rabbit Pie Full of little bones. This is the same people that run the Anchor and Hope, so you know the food is good and the the concept of service usually lacking, you really get the sense these people are resting on their laurels. The wines were a little average, but I think I know why. There is an arragance about a place that only gives you a wineglass if you order over a certain price.
