Wir sind hier zum Mittagessen eingekehrt, es gab Käsespätzle und Wild mit Spätzle, das Essen war gut, die Bedienung fanden wir ein wenig unfreundlich bzw. distanziert. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder!

Avons été correctement reçues et avons obtenu avec le sourire la place que nous voulions a l'intérieur.Mon plat me convenait,mon amie a trouvé le sien trop copieux,il faut avouer que les portions sont généreuses.

Für einen Original badischen Flammkuchen liessen wir uns im Goldenen Engel nieder. Der Münsterplatz an sich ist sehr sehenswert. Die Flammkuchen sind sehr gut gemacht: dünn, knusprig und nicht zu dick belegt. Dazu ein Gläschen Weisswein (Grauburgunder) und gut is!Die Bedienung liess sich etwas Zeit, die Preise sind für die Lage angemessen.

The restaurant charged 3.90 € for TAP WATER and they refused to withdraw (from a 116.50 € check). They neglected to inform in advance, when we were perfectly clear when we ordered. I tried to reason with the waiter and the cashier but ended insulting me with racist comments. Besides that, horrible service (only one waiter), expensive and poor quality.

The location is ideal, no doubt. Sunny outside seating on the Münsterplatz, just opposite the tower. Menu is composed of local dishes. We had Salad and Maultaschen. This was absolutely ok but not excellent. For example, there was gravy on the Maultaschen vs the traditional broth. The salad had a ready to use dressing. Price is ok. Service very friendly. Das Lokal liegt zwar an einem schönen Platz in Freiburg, was leider weder den Service noch das Essen wettmacht. Die Preise sind komplett überteuert im Vergleich zu der Größe der Portion, noch dem Geschmackserlebnis. Auf die Frage des Kellers hin, ob es geschmeckt hat fiel unsere Aussage negativ aus, was ihn aber nicht weiter interessierte. Auch das Licht auf der Damentoillette war leider defekt

Wir sind im Freien gesessen, unter Sonnenschirmen am Münsterplatz. Die angebotenen Flammkuchen haben uns beim Stadtrundgang anhalten lassen. Alles an diesem Lokal ist recht durchschnittlich, die Gerichte, die Bedienung, die Preise. Erst beim Zahlen ging ich ins Innere des Lokals und wunderte mich sehr über das extrem kitschige Interieur. Ich hätte in diesem Kitschraum nicht essen wollen. Vielleicht ist es aber ein Grund für andere, gerade deshalb hinzugehen, Amerikaner beispielsweise machen vor nichts Halt.

Little Restaurant on the Mûnsterplatz in Freiburg. We had an aspargus soup, then a flammenkuche, sparkling water as drink and cappuccinos. Aspargus soup did feel natural, I mean made wih fresh vegetables, but it was not that tasty, I mean, I do even more appreciate the industrial ones. I was (and we were) a bit disappointed. The flammenkuche was good, for my girlfriend it was so so. Nothing to say about the cappuccinos, correct.The decoration is a little bit weird in my opinion, there is such a lot of Angels... painting, sculptures etc... too much for my eyes.
