"we had booked a table on 26.12.2022 at 13:00 a.m. and we were immediately brought a bottle of water. while I chose the written menu, my man wanted the vegetarian guide. we had to wait until 13:40 a.m. until the young waitress, who stood in the room almost all the time of our stay, was given bread and butter. 10 minutes later the appetizer came. on the sorbet we had to wait about 25 minutes. a short time later the main course came. my main court was only moderately lukewarm, although we said that they should not take so long break with the desert, we waited again. 25 minutes to order the bill. here is much to improve! I wouldn't recommend it at the moment. Nevertheless, we will begin a new attempt at some point."

"the German house is exactly the landgasthof that I have long been looking for for my moving to idstein. beautifully located, even with the bike well to reach, very nice service, the pleasant atmosphere, a well maintained beer, the suitable beer garden. not least of course the menu and the quality of the food. the selection is bourgeois-founded, of high quality. there is the frankfurter carving with greener sauce as tasty filled pljeskavica, just to illustrate the variety and versatility of the menu."

"Behind the rather simple and moderately inviting facade of the communal centre Oberjosbach lies a small restaurant, which awaits both classic German cuisine and Indian food. We had Chicken Tikka and a Frankfurter Schnitzel both was very well prepared and extremely tasty. Prices are moderate, the service is very friendly, the ambience is little exciting (but completely okay). A clear recommendation."

"this restaurant is not far from our home, so it has become one of our local favorites! ! we have recently eaten with friends at lunch that have just moved to kelkheim. certainly an excellent restaurant. merlins is operated by people Indian origin, which is reflected in their menu. they have a large selection of kitchens, including German, Italian and Indian. our friends are narrower and wanted sharp currys. at merlins, that was not a problem. we ordered lamb vindaloo, lamb corma and chicken tikka. all meals were fabulous and the beef vindaloo was the best curry I had in Europe for many years. this restaurant has a great atmosphere and on clear days a wonderful view of frankfurt. in the past we had some excellent evenings here with a large group of friends. the service is wonderful and the hired are very friendly. the great part of merlins is worth; it really offers an excellent value for money. we would highly recommend this restaurant if they are in the opposite or want to spend a great evening with friends. it is just a short drive from kelkheim, königstein or frankfurt away and it is worth it!"

"we were at dinner in the evening. I had chosen the menu with corresponding weeping, my wife had a separate spears with wee. the food was excellent throughout. a fine game with aromen and seasoned. the foods were very well prepared and presented on the teller. the kitchen is to be praised.As the number of guests was manageable this evening, we were served by the restaurant manager, unfortunately! so the requested brot was forgotten. the wine to the main dish was served only on demand. the individual weeps were first presented and then presented/discussed. the choice of wine to the individual courses was not particularly happy and was marginal at the latest with a cuvee of riesling and apfelwein. at least one warning would have been appropriate. this could also not be cured with the pre-exposed obstsalat from the sommelie german. also the refreshment of wine/water does not seem to be common here. last position of the menu were pralins, which were very good taste, but in their size were cunning and each person also got only one sample. the espresso was a neutral product of a Swiss mass manufacturer and the sugar container offered was dusty. by our restaurant guides we were served all the way forward, while other service forces could remember their training. when we asked to leave after our garderobe, we were answered with "... which is at the reception", so self-service.
