The food is superb, the onion gravy is the best thing I've ever tasted, meat is cooked to perfection. And they have beer :)

Went with a friend for late dinner. We tried two different schintzels. Nothing special but still decent. Size of the portion was alright, which means that at the end noone was hungry. If nothing else, staff was friendly and the ambient is nice. Voir le carte

Had a great experience of traditional Bavarian Food and beer at the Geigerhaus. Staff were really friendly and the fact that we did not speak German was not a problem. We were attracted to the restaurant because a lot of locals were eating there. The food was great, but very large serves, so be warned.

We went for lunch on a sunny day and are pleased to report it was up to its usual excellent standard. Beer is superb, location is ideal after exploring the town and the food was classic Bavarian fare. Indeed, if you like wild mushrooms, you'll be happy, as there are several specials on the menu. However, fear not if you don't - there is plenty variety and all served efficiently and with a smile.

Stopped at Geigerhaus for a Sunday lunch. Sat outside overlooking this pretty town. Service was good, our waitress could speak English and the menu is comprehensive. What I liked most about this restaurant was the food. It was good sized servings, tasty and well presented. Being such a nice setting, we spent 2 hours sitting on the terrace enjoying observing the activity in the main street of historic Muhldorf while having a beer. Well done Geigerhaus. Voir le carte

If you went through difficult times, like climbing mountains for two months, swimming across the Channel, spend two months on a raft in the middle of the Ocean and have to quickly put some weigth, then this is the place to go. Huge (German) portions including large chunks of meat, potatoes, spatzle, knodel. Special note for the traditional Chanterelle Soup. I had oven baked pork with spatzle and souce. My wife went from roasted piglet. Weissebier is a must in Bavaria. At the end Apfelstrudell swimming in Vanilla Sauce. Really a very enjoyable lunch in the medieval city center of a nice city. We were recommended to this establishment by our accommodation host. As we had a vehicle and GPS it was very easy to access from Fussen where we were staying. We are an Australian couple whose German is virtually non-existent however our waitress was able to easily convey to us what was offered by the menu.Guessing that main courses are generous we elected to have only a mains and a sweet.Following the suggestion of our waitress we both chose a beef dish that was cooked to perfection and the balance of flavours ( sauce/ juices, bacon, apple, onion ) was outstanding. We had read positive reports of the Geigerhaus in Muhldorf am Inn on Trip Advisor, so we decided to eat there two nights running, as we wanted traditional Bavarian food rather than the ubiquitous Italian/Chinese/Indian.It was a warm night and all the diners had chosen to eat out on the tables in the square. We preferred to cool off by eating in the cellar which was semi-traditional with a sporting theme and two TVs on which to watch football matches.We were served a "helles" beer in a traditional German stein and "WeiBbeer" in an appropriate glass--both very welcome after the hot day.We opted for a Muhldorfer Schnitzel and a mixed meat and veg.
