Excellent tasting schnitzel! Nice pub atmosphere, with very friendly staff. Plenty of great beers to choose from.

Excellent schnitzels. Very tasty. They were huge, easily one for 2 people. Good bear as well. Good services, the bears were served in small glasses 200ml.

Great place for authentic food. Visited this place before I gave up meat-eating for schnitzel and German beer and the staff were fab, the portions were huge and the beer kept coming. It's a little crowded but it's a great experience.

It's a very busy place, but I understand why. The food they serve is delicious and the portions are big. We were placed at a table with another couple we didn't know. This seems to be very common in Germany, but didn't really bother me.

If you want to discover german most popular dish: the shneitzel, there is nowhere else to go. Not only the food was great but the dishes so large that only 1 out of 5 could finish. The waitress was friendly and speaking french, English, german.

Perfect schnitzel restaurant/ gaststaette, located slightly outside the city center. Cosy bar-cafe atmosphere. The original wiener schnitzel exists of 2 pieces that add up to an impressive size! Good Sünner beer. I guess it's handy to make a reservation in advance if you wanna have a decent seat, because the place was fully packed on a normal Wednesday evening.

They open at 5 and there is usually a line. If you can't get a table go right to the bar and there is room sometimes. They will happily feed you there. Their peppercorn sauce is the best I have had on a schnitzel. Pay a little more and get the veal. Bring your appetite or you will need a box. Oma's is well known among the locals and many tourist go here too. Do not miss this place.

Ok, first rule: you better reserve a table, even if it's just 2 of you. Second rule: EVERYONE better be on time! You can NOT access your reserved table unless everyone has arrived. Third rule: better be hungry! The portions are huge and the quality is really really god! Nice crispy Wiener Schnitzel (Veal) with tasty gravy to die for. This restaurant is definitely a recommendation if you are looking for a traditional but still unique German restaurant.

A little way off the main road , situated in a locals area . Small and seems to be family owned. We tried to book a table some days before going, but it wasn't possible, they said to go without reservation, and wait so we went there in the evening just before an FC Koln Match and it was packed although it had just opened for not more than 10mins…. Seating both inside and outside was full so, had a couple of drinks at the bar and was seated after about 25 minutes. Staff were great and chatty. Good lay out menu, food arrived quite quickly it was tasty, huge portion and very reasonably priced. Excellent food, best massive schnitzel with potatoes eaten, nice place, great staff very highly recomm...
