Absolutely lovely restaurant with lot of great and fresh/homemade food. Weekly specials are extremely good. Very nice staff.

what a wonderful sound. this restaurant is absolutely extraordinary. we had the pleasure to stumble it at our first day in bad gastein and have since gone almost daily. it also has great food for children and a toy box to keep them. stars without doubt.

We've spend few days with the family in Gastein ski resport. During our vacation we've arranged a dinners in this restaurant. It was a great choice. The food was excellent for decent price. We got a tip from a local to try this restaurant. Wow! We were so delighted. Each entree is a work of art both visually and flavor. Once we found out about it, we went every night we had left in our stay. The service...is very friendly and the atmosphere is good. Can't wait until our next stay in the Gastein valley so we can visit again and show our local knowledge.

we were two nights for a thermal washing and chose gasthof to post as basic. we had half board stay ( breakfast and dinner) . the breakfast is a rich buffet with fresh bread, sink, cheese, ice cream, etc. The dinners were really good, predefined menus...with the choice of the main between two options. real friendly service! we had a nice large apartment, very comfortable bed! clean, warm room!

We arrived in Bad Gastein with adults and kids, all hungry and thirsty. We stopped in for lunch and had a beautiful selection of soups and meals. In fact, it was so good we booked in for Xmas evening. Thank goodness we did!...The attention to detail with flavour balance and presentation is, simply, exceptional! You can not go wrong. we were a large group generations of small children to grandparents) there for week, in apartments in a building next to the main house. we liked the apartments, the only thing we missed: there was no microwave oven. breakfast was plentiful, wide. selection very good. we had dinner menu, very tasty, nicely served. a big problem, however, was for us the very slow service we had to spend every evening in the restaurant that found our whole group unacceptable. maybe a personal shortage?

As people know if they visit bad gastein, it is a beautiful Valley but there's no parking and it's hard to find quality restaurants. We traveled up the valley for barely five minutes and we found this Hidden Gem! Great presentation of food, superb quality...and taste. I'm so glad we decided to leave town to find this. We had the surf and turf which was tender steak and scampi prawns, vanilla ice cream with berries, Bailey's ice cream, Their Weiner schnitzel was perfectly lightly breaded. We have tasted others and they've been so fried and hard. we ate outside because of the coolness and it was a pleasant experience. go there!!

The good news on Jan The food was good but it should have been outstanding for min of waiting for it.. And no, it wasn't the course thing .. We waited that long for the kid's Schnitzel, noodels and beef....And no, it wasn't outstanding. Complaining after hour about the fact that my year old daughter was about to pass out if her dinner will not be on the table soon let to an interesting answer: it's because we ordered soup first for the kids and .. all people are arriving at pm. That's why it takes so long.. Ok, got it.. It was obviously our fault. After min my daughter passed out.. I complained again . min later her Schnitzel arrived. We tried to wake her up, no chance.
