You come to the restaurant, which extends over 2 levels. And a ladder truck depends on the ceiling. Everything is made of wood and looks very cozy. You usually find a free place, which is not always easy, but later more! When entering the restaurant, you will be kindly welcomed by the staff, because the entrance is near the vault. The food tastes very delicious and is quite cheap. A grilled Argentine hip steak costs just under 17€. That's a good price if...? Now comes the absolute Oberhammer: If 2 people sit together at the table and order the same food, then you only pay a meal! But not only because of this is one of my favorite restaurants. We have already ordered 2 different dishes and then paid the full price for each meal. We don't necessarily have free beer faces! I highly recommend the cheese salad. There's a lot of garlic in the menu! This warning should be taken seriously! The salad simply tastes crazy, thanks to the garlic. Yes it gets sharp in taste, but so the cheese salad must taste.This is the house specialty here and costs with delicious rye bread at the time 6.50€ alone this salad is already worth the arrival. I can only recommend the restaurant with its cosiness, great map and nice staff!"

Unser 2. Besuch! Diesmal haben wir den Honig Ente mit Rotkohl und Knödel ... große Portion, sehr lecker. Die Atmosphere ist rustikal und einladend. Zum Empfehlen!

Wir waren heute das erste mal im Gasthaus Leiterwagen, und wir sind echt begeistert. Der Service und das Essen sind echt super, kann man echt weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder macht weiter so.

Spontan heute essen gewesen im Leiterwagen. Freundlich und sympathisch empfangen worden vom Service Personal. Aktuelles Angebot: 2 gleiche Essen zum Preis von einem. Wir hatten beide saftiges Gulasch vom Angusrind, dazu Rotkohl und Dampfkartoffeln sowie jeder ein Getränk. Wir haben insgesamt 32 EUR bezahlt. Preis-Leistung passte, Service sehr gut und Ambiente ansprechend. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen und werden wiederkommen.

Super lecker, freundlich und schön! Der Leiterwagen wurde meiner Frau und mir von einem Freund empfohlen. Zu Recht! Ich habe spontan 4 Stunden vorher reserviert und habe noch einen Tisch bekommen. Reservieren ist eine gute Idee. Der Leiterwagen ist ein historisches schönes Gebäude und von innen sehr rustikal schön eingerichtet. Wir saßen auf der Terrasse draußen, diese war Modern, es gab Sonnenschirme, Heizpilze, Kissen und Decken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell, auf Fragen wurde uns gut geantwortet. Die Spezialität des Hauses liegt auf warmen Speisen, selbstgemacht. Meine Frau hatte Ente im Honigmantel mit Bratkartoffeln und Apfelrotkraut, ich Ochsenbäckchen mit Thüringer Klöß...
