"Again on the way to the south I took a break in Bernburg this time. I found a parking lot in the center and then walked along the pedestrian zone. On Karlsplatz there were several stands for the weekly market, behind which I already saw tables under parasols. When I came close, I saw that they were all occupied, no wonder in the sunny and warm weather. So I went into the restaurant and found a free table in the left guest room. Operation When entering, I was kindly greeted by a passing service. The young ladies in the service were not uniformed, but nevertheless uniformly dressed black, the appearance was friendly and accommodating and they were on their way flotted. So I hardly got that I had sat down, even the menu was enough, even in the course of the visit there was no inappropriate waiting times. Food The offer is a mix of German and Italian cuisine, there is pizza and pasta as well as carvings. The place for the menu is already provided on the HP of the house, but there is currently nothing left. After brief consideration, I ordered a pizza diavolo (8.80 € and a Cola Zero (bottle 0.2l for 1.90 €). About fifteen minutes after the order pickup, the pizza was then served, a fairly large specimen of 28 cm diameter. The coating was quite plentiful, with salami slices close to dense and many peperoni pieces. Tastefully it was good, the “Teuflic” sharpness was quite noticeable. Ambience The dark wood furniture with red seat and back cushions was taken over by the predecessor, the Italian restaurant Il Mondo, but everything else was completely renovated. On the white painted walls large-format collages of old signboards hung, on the tables there were a small pot plant and a tea light in a bowl. The tress area in the other part of the guest room also included the cooling gondola with the ice stocks. Overall, however, it was a bit to be felt that the new opening was just about four weeks back and therefore not everything was perfect. Cleanliness The guest room was well maintained and clean, as well there was no reason to complain about glasses, plates and cutlery. The toilet on the upper floor is slightly angled and not easy to find, but modernly designed and perfectly clean."
