"My experience yesterday exceeded all expectations, and that’s always the best kind of surprise. The food was spectacular, the service was excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch. I stopped in thinking it looked like a great pub for some classic pub grub, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my meal. When I tried the first course, a soup, I was pleasantly surprised by its rich, smooth flavor and impeccable preparation. For my second course, I had the steak, which was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented with its sides. And then there was the dessert—a pebble dessert that was simply extraordinary. It might just be one of my new favorites. I’m so glad I discovered this little gem, and I highly recommend that you give it a try!"

What a wonderful surprise! This pub is a hidden culinary gem, even for vegetarians! We enjoyed an excellent three-course dinner in the sunshine outside.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the ambiance was truly beautiful and relaxing. They also have a great selection of beers. Plus, it's dog-friendly, welcoming well-behaved dogs. I will definitely be coming back!

Frankish had an incredible dining experience; the food was absolutely out of this world and the prices were surprisingly affordable! I especially love the steak tartare. I'm hesitant to share this because I'm worried we might not be able to secure another reservation!

We first visited on Wednesday 27th April 2022 for a themed evening. We really enjoyed the experience and had to return to taste the normal restaurant menu. We were not disappointed. limited menu at midday, but still excellent. I had braincake, unusual portions with sodabrot and broccoli, but it worked well, I'm not a big broccoli fan, but it was heavenly! my good lady had the burger she said was one of the best she had anywhere. three times boiled chips were the actual thing. the gaerwen arms is certainly back in another league of a few years.
