"To start with, the wine fridge broke and the white wines were practically heated. Accidents happen and it could have been excusable if the food was good. Sadly, it wasn’t. The caponata we wanted to order for starters was not there; out of season, apparently. So we settled for polpo alla pantesca con patate which turned out to be a gummy textured octopus served with undercooked potatoes. Another starter, vongole saute, came with no plate for the shells or even a spoon for the sauce (perhaps because it was wholly unmemorable . The dish that moderately worked was busiate trapanesi the combination of almonds and garlic was original and tasty, and the portion was huge (in fact too large to finish . The other pasta dish was linguine gambero rosso marettimo totally unimaginative: 4 prawns (shells, heads and all on a large heap of pasta with minimal amount of tomato based sauce. When we entered the restaurant, we were the only guests, initially we thought it was because of the early hour, but apparently it was the cook’s night out too. The server was polite, but inept (to put it gently and the price was preposterous (65€ for such a poor meal. With a number of great restaurants going out of the business recently, one would think the surviving ones would be the best. Sadly, the opposite. Avoid if possible, feel warned."

Questo ristorante per me è sempre una conferma. Pesce freschissimo, ambiente familiare. Oggi ci siamo deliziati con una pasta all'aragosta davvero sublime. Non può mancare il mio calamaro panato, una vera prelibatezza, sempre una piacevole conferma, uno dei miei piatti preferiti. Buon assortimento di vini.

Delicious food, we had sauté clams with croutons, then red prawns and linguine followed by Cassatella ricotta. Best meal we’ve had in Sicily so far , sorry with great bottle of red Nene Nero d’avola. Very reasonable price for the quality. Nearly forgot to mention the friendly staff and lovely … highly recommend it

Chi viene a Trapani deve obbligatoriamente mangiare da GeG!! Siamo Stati lì a cena ieri sera è l'unico aggettivo da poter attribuire è OTTIMO. La qualità del cibo eccellente e pesce tutto fresco. thanks to the suggestion of some colleagues I wanted to try this place located on the beautiful promenade of trapani. recommended by the kind owner we ordered as a mozzarella appetizer stuffed with slices of salmon surrounded by slices of orange and nails of watermelon and figs and I have to say that it is a delicious combination of flavors. as first homemade linguine with red shrimp, really succulent. water and lemon sorbet to conclude. the price quality ratio was average. however recommended.

during a recent holiday in trapani, my wife and I have dinner many times in this restaurant. the menu, as mentioned, is based exclusively on fresh fish, moreover you have dishes out menu according to the ray fish. co-propriet michela is always available in the tips and proposals, very attentive to the needs of the customer. Una vista a dir poco meravigliosa, si può assistere allo spettacolo del tramonto sul mare, situato proprio sul lungomare trapanese. Un servizio un po’ impacciato, con la piccola gaffe di una cameriera che ha rotto un bicchiere proprio sul nostro tavolo a pochi centimetri da un piatto. Le pietanze però erano veramente buone, e valevano il prezzo che costavano. Le busiate allo scoglio erano gustose ed avevano la giusta quantità di pesce. Le busiate al pesto di mandorle erano abbondanti e molto molto apprezzate! Il cous cous di pesce nonostante un caro prezzo (20€ per un primo), si è dimostrato all’altezza delle aspettative. Unfortunately I wanted pizza instead of seafood when we were seated at this restaurant. The pizza looked amazing but that's where the superlatives end. 3 of the 5 of us had pizzas. The other 2 had seafood dishes and were completely satisfied. Our pizzas were cut at the most insane angles so that pieces ranged from quarter sized bites to godzilla sized pieces. The main issue we all had is that there was so much cheese that after a few bites you were stuffed. It was like a Chucky Cheese pizza. You could not taste sauce or any of the toppings. In vacanza a Trapani, mia moglie ed io, siamo stati consigliati da persone del luogo di cenare al Ristorane G&G. La prima volta vi abbiamo cenato la sera di Ferragosto, dopodichè ci siamo tornati una decina di volte. La location, sul lungomare, tutta in bianco è molto accattivante ed elegantissima, insuperabile nei suoi tramonti mozzafiato. Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria con grande attenzione e professionalità, il menù offre una vasta gamma di piatti tipici di pesce rigorosamente fresco, oltrechè proposte giornaliere in base al pescato del giorno.
