this place is great. not very obvious when you're on the road, but maybe that's a good thing. the waiter was super friendly and even gave me a few tips. had three different rolls that were all super delicious. the price is a huge plus,...but not be deceived: the price has nothing to do with the quality. if you want to eat sushi in a quiet beautiful place in a beautiful residential area, then check out this place. Sushi is definately one of My favourite foods and I have eaten it around the World. Fuku Sushi in my oppinion is one of the best Sushi places in town. There is another Sushi Restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg that is quite famous which i stopped...going to; Fuku serves double the amount of fish at half the price, it's always fresh and tasty. The family who runs it is very friendly, you can sit outside in summer and during lunch hours it's half price.

It is a very small and quaint place but we had no problem getting a table. The sushi was very fresh and lighter than what we are used to in the U.S. If you are wanting good sushi without paying a lot of money this is the place to go. If you are looking for somewhere with a lot of atmosphere this may not suit that need. I've found many times places that concentrate on the look of the restaurant lack in the quality of food though.
