I always eat here when I'm in Newcastle. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. I typically don't make recommendations because everyone's tastes are different.

Rather chaotic evening. Menu not as advertised and drinks and dishes were either wrong or not provided in the proper order. Staff were al pleasant and apologised several times and gave a discount but won't be going there again. Disappointing.

Had a lovely dinner at Fratellos. Friendly staff and great service. Pasta was perfect and not swimming in sauce, and rosemary and garlic bread was delicious. It was slightly pricey for what it was but we enjoyed it so didn't mind too much! Downside was that the restaurant was empty so no atmosphere to speak of. We would go back however! Voir le carte

we were the only people in there which made us feel like we were being watched. the pizza was outstanding and the steak was cooked beautifully. waiting staff were lovely however as they seated us quite far away and it was empty in the restaurant, it was clear that they were bored so kept coming over to ask if everything was ok (few too many times).

The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful. For our group of three, one starter was delightful, and one main dish was good as well. However, the rest of the meals were disappointing and, in my opinion, overpriced. I’ve heard that there are some great deals available, so next time I dine here, I’ll likely take advantage of one of those offers.

We made a reservation to celebrate my son's graduation, and I must say, both the service and the food were outstanding. The only thing that could have made the experience even better would have been some recognition of his achievement. In previous dining experiences, we have encountered staff who have given a card or offered congratulations for special occasions, which adds a nice touch. Voir le carte

Went for a valentine’s meal. Took 30 minutes and us going up to ask for our order to be taken. Order was taken 2 more times after that, and food didn’t arrive until almost 2 hours of us getting there. We had ordered a starter, a main and a dessert each, and we only ended up receiving a main after all the waiting, so we decided to call off the starter and the dessert as we had spent way too long for our food to arrive. Service was poor, we had asked the waiters about our food multiple times, only for them to leave to check and never come back. The staff were lovely but the food was very disappointing. £25 for 3 courses is good value but the portions were absolutely tiny. I'd rather have paid 25 for 2 courses but you got a bit more! The main came out on small plates, a bit like you would get at a wedding. Compare their Sunday roast to any pub restaurant and you will be very disappointed. The cauliflower and broccoli were so undercooked they were unedible! The place was empty... now I know why! I won't be returning, even though the staff were very warm and helpful. The place needs a rethink you are right on the doorstop of thousands of students who were all probably out on a sat night craving a homecooked Sunday lunch... I would go...

Having arrived at 7:30, the time we had booked a table for, we waited 10 mins to be seated. We had to call a waiter over at 8:10 to take drinks and food order, as we had been looking at the single page menu for long enough. 2 cokes, 1 steak and 1 Cesar salad quickly became a running joke. At 8:30 someone came over to check what we had ordered! 1 steak, 1 cesar salad!, drinks arrived 10 mins later. At 8:50 another waiter came over to ask what we had ordered for the third time. 1 STEAK, 1 CESAR SALAD.
