"it's not often I come here to write critiken, but franken certainly deserves it. there are some bad reviews here, but during my experience none of them were true. the owner herr g was the nicest Italian man. he was tasty and had a nice chit to chat with me. despite the current Kovid pandemic, we could get a table inside. the whole personal had masks and there were flax handsanitisers on all tables. frankies is just a small business, but it should not be underestimated. I and my wife had two meal times for only 21 pounds. it included 2 pizzas of their choice, garlic bread and two softdrinks. it was a real bargain. it fed us both and we had rest. I had the margarita and it was delicious, lots of cheese and tomato, teig that was cooked to perfection. it was really an authentic Italian pizza. my wife had the francs who had spinat and parma ham. it was loaded with blows. the table was nice and warm and was very cozy to stay."

Just ordered for my birthday! Best Calzone pizza I’ve had in years! And the cheesecake some sort of lemon meringue cheesecake was amazing. Highly recommend!

this pizza was excellent and as an additional bonus the cook/owner was quite beautiful! pizza was something of the most authentic Italian I had in cardiff. will definitely go back.

I found this little Italian restaurant by chance. I wait for the light and so they made vegan pizza. we stopped and ordered a chicken and chorizo pizza with Vegan cheese and a few started garlic bread it was really good willing definitiw back

Been here many times and never fails to provide high quality food and service. True authentic Neapolitan pizza. This is my go-to takeaway for any occasion. Very cheap and affordable. Ignore all the bad reviews as they are not the case! Best pizzas I've ever eaten. Highly recommended for anyone!

The chef and staff were welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in. The conversation was enjoyable, and the spicy calzone was delicious. I will definitely return when I am in town. The restaurant is located in the lively Albany Road area, and the chili peppers in the dish had a nice kick to them.

I randomly ordered this on Uber one day and have since ordered more than 20 times. The bruschetta is absolutely delicious. If I were on death row, this would definitely be my last meal. The delivery always takes a long time, but I can only imagine they are very busy with orders. The food still arrives hot and is worth the wait. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 rating and will continue to order from them until I die.

My absolute favourite pizza in Cardiff! I've lived in Cardiff since 2011 and have tried many different takeaway pizzas. I can say with absolute certainty that no other place I have tried beats Frankie's. The pizza base is delicious, light and full of flavour, and the topping are high quality, not too much cheese or sauce. The sides, although smaller in quantity than some places, are not greasy, and are so tasty! They clearly put a lot of time into the recipe for the flavouring of the chicken goujons. Really friendly drivers as well. I'll always come back to Frankie's :D
