"We had a fantastic experience at Sunday Roast. The fresh vegetables, huge Yorkshire pudding, and tender chicken were a hit. My wife enjoyed her delicious pork as well. They have Guinness on tap and a great wine selection. It's a good idea to make reservations as it can get busy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning. Vegetarian options are available, although I didn't explore them closely. The car park is well marked with ample space. They are kid-friendly with plenty of highchairs. Wheelchair accessibility is good with only a small step at the main entrance, with other entrances available."

"Nothing like as good as it used to be. One main course had to be sent back because it was cold. I chose the same as I used to have ie just a side dish of spinach and a side dish of sautéed potatoes. The potatoes had obviously been reheated and I couldn’t taste the herbs at all and the spinach was just wilted spinach with none of the flavourings it used to have and both these dishes were half the size they used to be. Won’t be going again which is a shame because we used to always go there when meeting up."

"steak and chips was nice, the chips went cold to end, would suggest another portion method to keep them hotter longer. the service seemed a bit strange to run with eating on a tablet from the kitchen and then the tablet removed and put on the table by various waiters. the service fee is added to the bill at 12.5%, which I feel is high, but this is optional, only puts on it to remove it."

"I am disgusted by the way this pub has treated us and let us down at last minute for our wedding day. We booked with them about 2 years ago asking if they would provide the bar for our wedding which they agreed to. We then met with the manager last year and discussed and finalised our booking for our WEDDING. We had mentioned it was going to be the Jubilee weekend so we wernt let down at last minute and gave plenty of notice. They said they would fulfil our request and they could offer us the bar for our special day. Now with 6 weeks to go we have been let down at last minute after we messaged to ask about final payment. The swan didn't have the decency to contact us to let us know that they no longer were able to manage the bar at our wedding. We are absolutely gutted that this pub has let us down last minute with us now struggling to find an alternative option due to it being the Jubilee!!! I really hope this never happens to another couple as you should never have this stress leading up to your special day!!!!!! GO ELSEWHERE"
