"I'm not a bubble tea expert, but formosan was the first place I had blase tee from behind in 2016 (it was then one of the few bubbles in oxford) and I've been there regularly since then. the personal is wonderful and very knowledgeable, their recommendations are always great and if they are not familiar with their menu, they will do their best to guide them through them. I have no favorite bubbles and usually go with what seems best the day, but as a general suggestion, their lemon-based options would recommend as a refreshing summer drink and their milk based options for the winter. they serve bubbled both warm and cold, but I always go for the cold option. if I had to choose a favorite, those I got most are the baked oolong tee (omp) from the milky options and the jasmine green tea (glp) from the lemony options. so far was the only tee I tried and did not like, the crushed mandele specialtee (amp), but that was very a question of personal preference, as the tee was really well done as always. one of their products that do not get enough recognition is their kombucha, which they make it themselves is better than anything they will buy in a business, so they give it an attempt (if they do not familiar with their options that allow them in the regular tasting before they buy) finally the atmosphere and the interior decor in formosan plays one of the most important asset-worthy: the inner is soothing, the decoration is soothing the seats are not available at the moment due to restrictions, but as soon as they allow, the bar is a wonderful alternative to the business and the noise of Oxford Cafés only compliments and appreciation of me"

Wouldn't have expected a Taiwanese style milk tea place in Oxford, but it exists -- if you can find the sign that points you down a small alleyway.

The restaurant is located on a street that is easy to find, but it is definitely worth the visit. The tea is of high quality and it is a great place to relax, hang out, or even bring a laptop to get some work done. My Taiwanese friend really enjoyed it, so you know the tea is top-notch.

The restaurant has a beautiful and cozy atmosphere with a newly opened sitting area. The owner is passionate about their craft. The teas are delicious, natural, and homemade. It is a great local business. My favorite is the warmed jasmine green tea with milk, and the additional pearls are complimentary. I highly recommend it!
