"my nudeby and I went to oban for a long weekend and went into this beautiful restaurant to breakfast. we had lorne sausage on a roll with a kartoffelboone and we were thrilled by how tasty it was the kartoffelbohlen for dying and everything made home. we went the next day for more lorne sausage and we had the best chocolate brownies that we have ever tasted there was a nice cheese selection so that we naturally have some of this girl. I would highly recommend this excellent restaurant on oban pier. our compliments to the wonderful cook for all its amazing eating. we are just sad that we do not buy some of their homemade cakes and throw rolls with us to bring them looked amazing. thanks to them all for a beautiful experience xx"

Lovely teas and coffees, very nice selection of highland produce. The manager really helped me out when they ran out of Chrystal's shortbread tins in September. Can't fault these guys.

I had a full breakfast here. nice eating and really friendly people. if they are looking for somewhere to eat near the ferry terminal, I recommend very food from argyll at the pier. I will definitely visit again.

can not speak high enough of eating, service or ethos of food from argyll. was an unexpected tasty bite to find this at a ferry terminal when it has the mood of a place that removes a stone bomb. you know you're looking for a good thing when you stare at the menu for the old one and still stick to one thing. kudos an martin to be a champion.

some fab vegan options beautiful host. I recommend the vegan option here. Today I had an amazing 'vegan caramelized red plank rosemary baked with water chalk and vegan cheese ' (produced by scratches at the premesis). the chips and sweet potato chips are separately cooked in veggie oil, they often have a vegan suppe, and their vegan chocolate brownies are for to die! They also have no milk for their tee and coffee.

"We booked this restaurant after reading the reviews while touring Scotland what a disappointment. When we arrived we were shown to a table straight behind the door and as it kept opening and shutting it blew a massive amount of cold air in. As both parents and staff allowed 2 young children to go in and out every few minutes it got a bit much. We were given the menu and told specials were on the board. No description or recommendation. Also they did not say the board also goes over the top of the fish on didplay. I had crab claws to start the mayonnaise was lovely and what I could get out of the claws was nice but I was given no instruments to get into the claws and they were not broken enough for them to just pull out. I ordered the turbut for main as did my husband it was a small fillet with the skin correctly removed but it was loaded with garlic butter sauce you couldn't taste the fish for the garlic. Also which was worse I don't know what they did to the top of it but it was yellow and like thin rubber. We had to peel it off it was not good. I didn't complain at the time because I am not used to having a fillet of turbut. When I have had it before my husband and I have shared a turbut presented whole at the table. I have only written this today after speaking to some friends who said i should put something on because there had to be something wrong for the top of the fish to be yellow and leathery. You might guess but I won't be going back."
