"we were last week in lucern and eating fondue in the Swiss was on my bucket list. I had a few suggestions that were given to me, and I mentioned them the woman who checked us into the hotel. she said she preferred fondue house. I'm so glad we went with her recommendation. this place was fantastic! it lies on the water and we sat on the balcony with view of the river. it was perfect to have the intention, but not the crowds that go through eating. the waitress was fantastic, had a great sense of humor and helped my man choose to try a local beer. we have decided to make a good, main and dessertfondue. we had planned to order for two, but she said, unless they really starve, that the portion would be more than a lot. really happy that we were listening, was the part for one more than we could eat! everything was fresh and delicious. we were told that the owner is very picky about quality and even going to meet the farmers where he gets his cheese to make sure it is good enough. and that was better than anyone I had here in the usa we had a nice evening that enjoys the great food and a nice talk with a dame and her son on the table next to us. if we are in the future in lucern, this will be on our mandatory list. I can't say enough good things, it's a must try place."

The stuff was very rude and they didn’t explain that the price is per person. It was very expensive. And when we ask her why it’s this price she starts shouting.

The food was delicious. We had cheese, meat and chocolate fondue. They were all tasty. Plus there are a lot of side dishes that are included. It was far too much food for us, but an enjoyable visit. I’d go back again. Voir le carte

Fantastic experience. We were received with great affection by Maria Ferreira, a kind Portuguese woman whose attention and affection we fell in love with. The fondues she recommended were delicious, we were very satisfied.

amazing place to call this delicious Swiss dish “Friendue” they have a very long menu of traditional to new aromes. the service was amazingly very friendly many of the staff can speak English, Portuguese and other languages. please save space for chocolate fondue.

The view was amazing, really liked that there were no cig users due to the fact that most restaurants tend to allow smoking at the tables. The food was delicious, the portions were a really big. I would recommend taking only one portion for two people if both are not really hungry. Waiter brought cola insted of beer. Voir le carte

it was such a great night! her Chesefondue is literally amazing! you really feel like closing the eyes and eating every bite. the chocolate foundry is also very beautiful. and the cherry on the top is the service- the waitress is very nice and their make sure their whole experience is pleasant. would definitely recommend for those who try the foundry for the first time!

We visited Lucerne in the Summer and this is off season for fondue, so we didn't have lots of options to pick from. We came across Fondue House Du Pont after reading some online reviews and I'm so pleased this is where we chose. We had a fabulous view from our seat on the balcony, overlooking the river and Chapel Bridge. There was lots of choice for fondue, I went with goat cheese and it was amazing! They don't skimp on potatoes or bread, we struggled to get through it and definitely wouldn't have needed to ask for more. The waitress who served us was fantastic.
