the fischerbaude in holzhau is an old traditional restaurant with connected pension. strangers can sometimes be deceived with the name: the building where the mountain chain is of course not a fish restaurant. rather it was founded by a family fisherman. the restaurant is cozy. the service was very friendly and attentive. on the teller comes the fertile home kitchen. very tasty and a good value for money. for less than 10 euro are also to have wild specialties. We had reserved by phone, were very early for dinner there. No problem, a table for us with our two dogs was prepared in a quiet corner. Short waiting time for drinks and food was not a problem. The food was of very good quality, freshly prepared and very inexpensive. The portions are very lush and completely sufficient. The service is super fast, very attentive and absolutely friendly. we were at irregular intervals once to be gassed in the fischerbaude and at the same time satisfied overall. the last visit, however, is about 2 years back, so no detailed evaluation is possible.
