I can't comment on the food as we only came for drinks, but we did get a free bowl of nibbles The only potential fly in the ointment was that Open Table had not forwarded our booking onto Harvey Nichols 5th Floor Bar, which the waiter said sometimes happens with Open Table bookings. Fortunately it wasn't an issue and he managed to find us a nice table."

We had booked a table for 1.00pm,which was confirmed the previous day.Upon arrival,the Bar was closed and wasn’t due to open until 3.00pm.Obviously this was very disappointing.A breakdown in communications!

We had the afternoon tea, but given the price, it was not worth the money. The ambience was that of a noisy café, which is fine for a causal lunch, but afternoon tea should be in nice quiet and comfortable surroundings. This definitely not it. Pay an extra £10 to £20 and you could go to Fortnum Mason or The Ritz Hotel nearby and get luxury, comfort, and unlimited sandwiches/cakes (within reason). Harvey Nichols was far from luxurious and not worthy of offering an afternoon tea.
