This charming little pub is conveniently located right next to Highbury and Islington Station. When I visited on a Tuesday afternoon, it was quite quiet, which made for a pleasant atmosphere where we could converse without having to raise our voices. The food was great, and there are several cozy nooks featuring comfortable leather seating as well.

The reservation was not honored. We were denied entry due to the pub’s policy of only allowing football fans with membership proof on days when Arsenal is playing. This should be clearly communicated during the booking process or offered as an alternative at that time. The organization was very poor, and it was quite uncomfortable for us as customers. Nice little pub, near the station, with booths, each with its own screen so a sports pub then I suppose.... The top thing is the provision of USB plug sockets all over the place, which I really really like so 5 stars for this from me, this pub (apart from serving some great food and drinks), is or could be a life saver, or just make things that bit easier for folks with last few bars on their phone battery...
