"We stopped by here for lunch, wanting to check out a Chinese place in the neighborhood. The location is right off of Piazza Sabotino (very well connected to the rest of the city) with the #16 tram stop directly in front of the restaurant. A kind of non-descript entrance leads you into an equally non-descript interior which is simple and clean. Friendly service and the food was quite good. Quite honestly, I'm not sure what the terrible reviews refer to but maybe we were just lucky with our choices. We had the deep-fried spring rolls (too greasy for my taste but I haven't been happy with any of the fried selections in town) followed by probably the best fried rice I've had in town. It was a simple vegetable fried rice. Then we opted for the shrimp on the hot plates (piastra) in the SHACHA sauce (Sha Cha), which was a first for me and I thought it was very good (seems almost like Chinese five-spice but spicy). A full dozen shrimp (tails on) were served with a mix of vegetables, including green bell peppers, carrots, zucchini and onion. I haven't seen this dish available at other restaurants and I was very pleased with it. It was available in all the other varieties (chicken, beef, shrimp) as well. I also had a Chinese salad which was really just lettuce, carrots and tomatoes (very fresh and ripe), but it was fresh and tasty. The dessert choices are pre-made, frozen items often available in Chinese restaurants here in town. They range from good to very good. We had the green tea cake (kind of a green tea ice cream cake with whipped cream on top) and the tiramisu, both good. Decent cup of coffee followed. So, in total we had one salad, one fried rice (enough for two people), two orders of shrimp, two desserts, one liter of water and two coffees for under 28 Euros. Not bad when you consider the desserts alone were about 3.00 Euros/each. We'll go back!"
