"Oh my goodness!!! This is a little gem, shining in the small village Ladock, Cornwall. I had heard rumours that the heads chefs cooking in this restaurant was special but our experience surpassed all expectations. Service was great; welcoming, coat taken and a aperitif next to a blazing open fire. This place gave me that warm fuzzy feeling from the moment we settled in. Food!! Was amazing!! Scollops to start, an oriental theme and cooked to absolute perfection. Next duck, again cooked to perfection and finished with a delicious tasting jus. I loved the addition of the pink grapefruit in this meal, along with a great mix of root vegetables. Finally pudding, a rich chocolate dessert soaked in liqueur! All in all, a fantastic experience from start to finish and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough!"

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch for a group of eight. It was the first time I experienced a Sunday roast where the meat was more of an accompaniment to the vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff made us feel very welcome throughout our visit.

Couldn't fault the Falmouth Arms. Stayed for two nights, the room was clean and comfortable, the food was out of this world, superb!! Jill and Kevin made us feel really welcome.
