Estate Tea Co - Carte

The staff in here are so friendly and welcoming. Tea selection is superb. Udon noodles are delectable. I can't wait to go again and try some of their other dishes and tea offerings.

Had the most incredible tasty food at estate last night, beers were great, service was brill, the lady was really informative about the food and drinks. Thanks for a great end to our lovely evening

Absolutely outstanding food here. Sourdough bread with avocado, egg, vegan feta pomegranate wow. Lots of added extras a chai tea latte to die for. Decor ambience great. Lovely friendly staff. Definitely recommend. Voir le carte

Decided to try this out as had passed on bus. Not sure what to expect as I dislike tea. Anyway, met a friend and was vey pleasantly surprised they sell coffee too. We had food which was delicious. I had a pork dish and my friend beef. No complaints at all. Wine was good and they serve a mean gin and tonic. We will definitely return.

An enormous selection of leaf teas here, alongside other drinks as well. They have a broad expertise on tea (differing brew techniques and times, what to choose etc). With your tea you can have cake from local artisan suppliers. Mmmmm! The place also does Japanese style dishes which we didn't have, but those we saw and smelt appeared to be excellent!

Been in before to buy tea from here (which is great), but noticed that they do Japanese evening meals. So popped back. Wow glad I did. As well as the selection of excellent teas, they have a diverse food menu which we ordered a selection of dishes to try. I have to say every single thing was amazing. Lovely place located along Heaton Road. It’s different to the standard coffee shop where they serve a range of teas which are brought to your table at the ‘right’ temperature and brewed to perfection. Though they sell coffee too. My Mum (a non-tea drinker) recommends the Japanese Cherry tea. Estate Tea also serve a range of cakes/brownies, pastries as well as Japanese food made fresh in the kitchen. Highly recommend this place and often isn’t full so it’s easy to get a table.

We order tea online as the English breakfast tea is unlike anything we have ever had before and have been ordering for years now, we having been trying to get up to visit the tea room for some time and now have finally had that chance while visiting family and so glad we did. We tried different teas and enjoyed the whole atmosphere was fantastic and the staff are brilliant from front of house to the kitchen staff we can’t not speak highly enough about them, we had the Luroufan a pork dish, Shigureni Beef Chazuke and a side of Pork Gyoza all dishes were full of flavor and a truly amazing, so fantastic to see a different style of menu and done to such a high standard. On a dot around Heaton we decided to jump into Estate Tea Co for a drink and a snack. The place was near empty when we went (late afternoon) so we had pretty much our pick of tables. The place was clean and with minimalistic décor, but was very nice. We grabbed some menus and had a peruse. The drinks selection was very extensive with a huge range of Chinese teas, some of which I swear I've never seen outside of teas shops in China or Hong Kong. That said, a number of them were crossed out on the menu...
