Went here for a schnitzel, it was large but lacked taste. Chips tasted as if the were deep fried again to warm them up. Salad was good. Wine selection by the glass is small, which is disappointing for a steak house.However, I have been here before and had a steak, and they are fantastic. I would recommend to stick with what they are good at.

very well located restaurant (hackescher Markt), something they use to get a meal profit that is not worth the amount they pay for it. we waited to be served on the terrace, and there were at least 5 waiters inside without paying attention to the people, for an icy they have charged us 5,50 €, for a piece of bark with sauce and cartoffel 18,90 €, for a coffee 2,50 €... with big signs with a steak on it, this attracts for two hungry gigs after a long journey. we went in and ordered half fried steaks that were gray inside when we got them. good ofenkartoffel and large portions, but otherwise not much special. the waitress reminded us several times that drinking money wasn't included when we had to pay what was a bit annoying, because we didn't feel that we would give drinking money. never again!

I visited for lunch with my family, there where not many people there, but still it seemed the waiter was rushing when taking our order, I ordered potato wedges instead of the corn fries accompaniing my dish, but even though I told the waiter twice I had the feeling that it did nok sink in, and correctly so, as I was served a jacket potato instead. The food was average, my children had burgers that were OK but bland, and I had the blackened chicken, which was not blackened, but more like encrusted with chili. And the aforementioned potato contained more sour cream than potato.
