I love all the staff, I am a regular customer and love the new new members of staff, all are so friendly

I recently visited this café. i found the coffee was extremely overpriced for a poor quality coffee. the boss was very unprofessional and he created an atmosphere which was extremely rushed and it was not an enjoyable coffee. from now on I will be getting my coffee from Fred And Ginger

I have visited epicure few years ago and was impressed with the quality and creativity of their open sandwiches. I went back this week and was very disappointed, it is now just ok, but nothing epicurean about the food, very average sourdough bread, not even real butter on it but spread, things just topped on it but nothing exiting for the taste buds..it is not bad but far away from how brilliant it used to be . Tried Epicure in Hemel Old Town after the park run. They were open early on a Saturday which was nice so we didn’t have to wait to order. Ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk which was delicious with lovely mint flavour added in. My husband had the dark hot chocolate and also really enjoyed it. We didn’t order caked but they looked delicious and had some gluten free and vegan options! The tables outside the cafe have a lovely atmosphere, will definitely be going back

My daughter, a uni student home from for summer, enquired about a job over the summer period. Told yesterday by a lovely staff member that she would pass her details on to her manager, staff member then advised her to call the manager. Daughter followed up with manger today by phone. Manager was INCREDIBLY rude to her. Informed daughter he was the owner and only needed committed people. His tone was incredibly rude, inappropriate and unnecessary. I can’t comprehend how this man can retain staff or customers, when he speaks to a young woman like this. I for one will be telling people not to visit.

Tried a black Americano it was nice! It was smooth in flavour with the beans not being burned! Can’t fault the coffee The coffee cost £3.20 for a regular and next size up was £3.40! Not sure if you just get more water or a extra shot. Would have liked the staff to explain difference in sizes etc! Overall waiter 5 minutes as they grind the beans and serve it at the right temperature. I did see a menu of savoury foods such as sandwiches pastries as well as cakes. The place is always popular and pretty busy whilst competing with the regular chains as coffee is big business In Berkhamstead! I give it 4 Voir le carte
