The first time that I have been to a Sri Lankan restaurant and the string hoppers, hoppers and pittu was lovely. Especially the pittu. The service was great too.

Quite authentic Sri Lankan food, with pleasant enough service in a clean, utilitarian environment. Certainly not the place for a romantic dinner, but a decent meal at a competitive price.

I've made my birthday parties to the elephant walk. the customers were polite and helpful with recommendations. it was a good value for money and also another choice of the usual Indian cuisine. would recommend it very much! Voir le carte

Having lived in Sri Lanka for 3 years, we had high expectations for the food. Although half the menu was South Indian rather than Sri Lankan, the food we had (all Sri Lankan dishes) was excellent. We had plain hoppers and coconut sambol for starters very tasty (although the sambol serving could have been a bit more generous). For main course we had 4 curries and rotti, and they were all delicious. No room for dessert! I would certainly recommend this place.

I had booked elephant walk for ten meals on Thursday night. we wanted to find the door locked. when someone came to the door, they said they couldn't serve us because something that happened meant they had no cutlery or drinks? . then I had to find an alternative restaurant that could handle a walkable group of 10. I found it appalling that they (if they had my email and my phone number, they had not informed that they could not honor my booking. I wouldn't go back there.

after looking at their website it seemed obvious to give this restaurant a visit. if they eat on the look for authentic sri lankan, please stay away from this restaurant. Of course, they will not really get sri lankan eating in Britain, but one would expect that sth similar to it if they 're will spend a considerable amount of money. I was in sri lanka for 2 weeks this year, so I know what to expect to a certain degree. the chicken jersey tastes like an ordinary biryani, the lampris is extremely dry (usually very humid) and the service was not reflecting the price on the menu.
