"Had heard good things about this place, myself and my partner managed to go there yesterday and were not disappointed! The team was lovely, friendly, engaging and couldn’t do enough for you! The food was excellent! We probably over ordered but they did offer to pack up whatever was left up for us to take home : We will definitely go back, lovely place to have a date night without having to take the car. Wish more people would give the small restaurants in Purley a go, much better than chain! We will continue to support this little place"

If you’re partial to a spot of Middle Eastern cuisine El Shams won’t disappoint. A group of us dined out on a wonderful spread of hot and cold home made mezzes followed up with a mixed grill cooked to perfection and a couple of cold beers to wash it all down with. The presentation is as good as the pics!
