"This was maybe not our best evening out, but i would not want to be too harsh. The restaurant has a lovely decor, and friendly staff. On the evening we went, during the hour or so we were there, we were the only diners, so i am sure with a full house and a good atmosphere we may have had a different experience. We had potatoes to start, a plate each whereby one would have sufficed to share. They were ok. My wife had duck and i had pork for mains. We weren't sure what the accompaniment would be, but were hoping for some veg and a sauce...but they came out with another plate each of the potatoes we had just had for starter, and a tiny bit of salad. So we were a bit overloaded on potatoes and thought maybe the waitress/chef would have told us our starter was also a large portion on the mains. However there was a language difficulty, and that is our problem, not theirs, as our Spanish is fairly non existent. The meal was ok. We had a lovely bottle of red wine at a good price to accompany the meal. The waitress was good fun and chatty. Apparently they do a great lunchtime menu, and i think perhaps we were a bit disappointed as we had high expectations for our evening out, and it didn't meet them. I would not want to put anybody off going though, give it a try and see what you think for yourselves. Reviews generally are very positive."

Not considering mosquitos, food is overall good and service is nice. Located on the stairs close to clastle..parking not easy. Avg prices.

very friendly and attentive people. charming atmosphere. living room with little capacity, is quiet, surrounded by little people and with a very cozy decoration.

Great menu del dia for €15. Friendly staff and great service. Food was excellent and plenty of choice for a 3/4 course meal. Also great background music on a jazz vibe.

a place full of charm. the letter is simple, but everything we ate was good. the restaurant seemed to me a special place, both for its location, on the staircase that goes up to the eagles castle, as for its interior and the story that counts. we could dine next to the fireplace.
