"We have stayed in Alicante many times and have looked at this restaurant, generally busy , a good sign we foolishly thought. Arriving at 7.00 pm , we were courteously invited to have a drink at the bar since restaurant service started at 7.30 pm. We were easily convinced, ordered starters, two glasses of white wine , a bottle of red and lobster paella. The starters were fine and the wine good. The paella was more than disappointing, the lobster being two half body shells which contained no flesh, sin carne, agreed by the waitress when I complained. This was taken away and we agreed to order an alternative, chicken in a korma sauce. Unfortunately, the chicken was raw in the middle and the waitress quickly removed the dishes when shown the problem. We are in our 70’s, so have eaten out quite a lot, but this is a first, two mains returned. The bill did not include the white wine or the mains but this is scant consolation when we wanted to enjoy a meal in a traditional Spanish restaurant. A meal or a memory, sadly this was a nightmare, will never go back."

We found this restaurant opposite our apartment when we just arrived in Alicante and had some wonderful local dishes! Also quite happy with the fact that they served Alhambra, one of our favourite beers.
