"I almost want to give this place a five-star recommendation. That's how blown my mind was after my first taste of their creamy ice. The ice cream was outstanding; unique, original and tasty combinations of flavors that you either don't think would go together so well or just know would be a match made in ice cream heaven. Whichever road you chose to go down, you will not end up disappointed (or poor! The prices are fair and all the ingredients are vegan-friendly. What a treasure! The establishment itself wasn't all that impressive though; a small shop with a pirate/ocean decor and no room to sit. If you do however, wish to sit down somewhere nearby to enjoy your cup of treasure, there are some colorful plastic and wooden chairs just outside the shop."

Excellent ice cream It's better than most in the area. Creamy and rich. It's an ice cream shop, so service is a pretty small factor. But it was fine.

Don’t get afraid of the long line, it goes very quickly and the ice cream is worth waiting! There are plenty of flavours, from rafaello and cookies to mint or vanilla

We went here twice in the last 2 days and the ice is great at a decent price. Some intriguing but good combinations such a basilicum strawberry. Some flavors are highlighted as vegan. Original outfit!

Eispiraten is a very popular ice-cream shop in East Berlin. There are many ice cream flavors to choose from and the prices start at one euro. The ice cream is good! Be prepared to wait in line, but it's worth the wait.

Well... very good icecream, very fair price, cute and smily young woman serving and happy to make us taste the flavours... we sat outside and we felt simply home :-) I will be back. I strongly suggest mint with chocolate ;-)

The long queue in front of the parlor indicated that this must be the place to get ice cream when you are near Boxhagener Platz. The whole decor is very piratey ... The kids seem to love both the decor and definitely the ice cream....More

I'm Italian which means that ice-cream is something very serious to me! This place is outstanding, all the ingredients are fresh and the vegan flavors are as good as all the other flavors. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can eat your ice cream in the sun on a bench in Boxagener Platz.

Being Italian and living in Berlin I toured some ice cream shops to find a sweet and creamy treat that would fully satisfy me. Unfortunately the only plate up to the expectations is Eispiraten. The ice cream flavour is intense but what really sets it apart from others is the consistency: finally creamy! It is also a really good value: one generous scoop only 90 cents!
