"Because of the positive reviews and good rating we chose for this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was not that good. As a first dish we ordered the onion soup. The bread with the melted cheese was delicious. The soup itself was not so tasty. As...a second I ordered some special schnitzel with onions and mushrooms on top of it. Here it went fully wrong; there was no taste in the onions and the mushrooms. Were they cooked in water? Were the mushrooms from a can? We asked them to recommend a dry white wine. The wine seemed semi-sweet and it was not served cold enough. Definitely, not a wine of quality. In conclusion, the offered meal was unfortunately well below our expectations."

"En vacances à Landal Warsberg. Nous avons eu une bonne référence d'un magasin de chaussures local et réservé à des personnes, mais j'ai montré que Kid ait eu malade malade et sa mère est restée avec lui, ils ne l'inquiétaient pas. Aucune attente spécifique, mais quoi ... une grande pizza et des pâtes! Très bien équilibré et mélange d'ingrédients, de belles pizzas minces et croquantes. Et un prix presque absurdement à prix abordable avec des personnes pour un plat principal, des boissons et des desserts pour le café des enfants pour adultes, nous avons évidemment donné une pointe décente. Nous avons immédiatement réservé à nouveau pour le vendredi prochain"

"Heute haben wir uns mal Saarburg angeschaut und waren mit den Kindern dort ein Eis essen. Auf den ersten Blick war es eine gute Wahl. Leider war es dann doch nur mittelmäßig in Qualität und Service. Der Service hat relativ zügig die Bestellung aufgenommen, aber bei 4 Spaghetti Eis 2 Stück falsch zu machen, naja.. kann passieren. Das Eis schmeckt, irgendwie altmodisch trifft es. Auch die Auszeichnug an den Sitzplätzen von 1991/92 lässt vermuten, dass sich hier nicht viel getan hat. Die Cremigkeit und der gute Geschmack anderer Eisdielen lässt sich hier nicht finden, lediglich ein mittelmäßigen sehr süßes Eis mit etwas Eiskristallen. Schade, da könnte man mehr draus machen. Das Eiscafé profitiert hier von der Altstadt und dem Tourismus, in direkter Konkurenz zu einem anderen Eiscafé könnte es wohl nicht bestehen. Im Herbst fahren wir wieder nach Saarburg dann werde ich mal schauen ob sich etwas gebessert hat..."

"La nourriture savoureuse est préparée par les Italiens de Pouilles. Il y a un grand jardin avec un vieux arbre et une vue magnifique sur la Sarre de la rivière, où vous pouvez vous asseoir, le temps le permet. Le restaurant peut être un peu occupé quand il est ensoleillé, c'est donc bon ... de venir tôt pour vous assurer d'avoir une table à l'extérieur ou de faire une réservation à l'avance. L'attente de la nourriture peut être un peu longue quand elles sont pleines, mais le fait qu'ils offrent des olives antipasti, du pain et une très belle trempette d'aubergine gratuitement et que vous êtes assis dans ce magnifique jardin plus que de compenser. Ce que j'aime à propos de cet endroit, c'est qu'il n'y a pas trop de tables à l'extérieur, de sorte que vous ne vous sentez pas pressé comme des sardines là-bas. Le restaurant est facile à trouver lorsque vous savez où aller: disons que vous êtes debout à l'endroit qui se trouve directement au-dessus du musée du moulin Mühlenmuseum, mais de l'autre côté et les cascades sont à votre gauche lorsque vous faites face au musée de ci-dessus; Maintenant, derrière votre dos, la rue qui monte à Kunohof, juste monter cette rue et après quelques mètres, vous verrez un signe Bella Vista. Buon appétito"

"Nous allons assez souvent à Saarburg et avons déjà essayé divers restaurants. La plupart étaient moyens ou ne valent pas la peine de revenir à. Nous avons donc eu une très bonne surprise découvrir ce restaurant. À première vue, il semble assez traditionnel, mais la nourriture était très savoureuse ... J'ai eu du poulet avec des nouilles et une sauce sauge, qui donnait à la nourriture entière une touche moderne. Le désert, d'autre part, les gaufres avec ragoût de nectarine étaient plutôt décevantes. La gaufre était plutôt sec et le ragoût oublié initialement sur l'une des portions était surtout la nectarine coupée en petits cubes. Le personnel semblait un peu submergé à certains moments. Cependant, nous allons certainement retourner à cet endroit et espérer découvrir davantage dans le menu."

"RACIST BUSINESS !!!!!!!!!!!! In this area parking is extremely difficult, so we had to park at a short min walk away. it was not a problem because the Walk here to the area is pretty pleasant and the houses around are very cute. As...we got to the waterfall town, we were so happy as it looks amazing around here, but to have a meal and sit next to the waterfall is very complicated. The restaurants in this area do lunch and dinner, they close around and only reopen around pm, if you do not have a reservation for these times it is nearly impossible to eat around here. We managed to without a reservation for lunch find a place that had some spots for dinner. The place I am making this review. they were pretty good at accommodating us. We came in and I was not hungry but other people in my group were so we sat and I had a cup of coffee. As half of my group ordered food and we waited a LONG TIME for the meals to arrive some of the people who did not order food at first decided that they were willing to eat at that point and requested to order. The lady who was taking our orders SAID NO! the people who did not order when she first took the meal orders were not to oder anymore cause it was going to take too long and the others who just got the food would be done by then, in summary, she wanted to turn the table and not let us eat. One of our friends asked for just a side of salad and this lady was ABSOLUTELY RUDE TO HER (we felt like she was being racist as our friend is a black woman) and she didnt even Give a reason why she could not order the salad, she simply said NO and walked alway. As we went to pay her credit card machine was not taking my card and I tried all the cards that I had and I also have a AMEX PLATINUM and that card has no limits, it tends to never get declined, I actually never had this card declined ever, so I knew it was her machine, but she got incredibly angry and impatient at the error and just told me to get someone else to pay for my coffee as she was no longer going to try and run my cards. As I did not have any food and was not allowed to order later I cannot speak for their food, but based on the RUDENESS and honestly the RACIST behaviour of the staff I would tell you to NEVER step foot in this place!!!"

"My son and I were staying at the Hotel, and decided to have dinner here after a long day exploring.First, the service: Probably the most warm, friendly service we have had anywhere in Europe during our 2 week "mini grand tour. Although her English was a little rusty, she couldn't have been nicer to two Americans with almost no German. What a pleasant surprise.We each had the €40 Regional specialty menu, and it was superb. Started with a chef's gift of carpacchio and fresh melon, which was sublime, as was the basket of brot.The entree (appetizer) was a fantastiche salad with marinated artichoke hearts, white asparagus (local specialty), an incredible piece of salmon, and a garnish of crab meat. Out of this world.For the main course we each had the schnitzel, served with buttered parsley potatoes and more white asparagus. I've had scnitzle at Zum Schwartzen Kameel in Vienna, which is supposed to be the best in Europe, bit the Saarrburger Hof eclipsed it. Truly remarkable.Dessert was a plate with an assortment of treats, including local cheese, vanilla ice cream, a small slice of gingerbread cake with a sumptuous sauce, fresh berries, and a blended fruit parfait.We started the meal with Bittburger bier and had a lovely local wine with the entrees and main courses. Total bill was €105 including service which qualifies as a steal. A truly memorable meal and evening."

"My wife and I visited Saarburg to see the famous waterfall and to have a meal as close as possible to the waterfall. We found this restaurant amazing close to the waterfall and we sat outiside. The food was fine and the prices quite...reasonable given the location next to the falls and in a touristy area. The service was on the slow side, despite the fact that the number of people in the restaurant was relatively low. When my wife and I stopped in, it was a bit late for lunch and it was raining. A fine experience and we would happily stop in here, again, for lunch."

"Horrible service. Food was bland, at best. The side salad came out after the main meal. No herb butter on the steak as stated by the waiter when discussing the fact that our daughter does not like onions…he mentioned they could make the steak without...onions and use herb butter (not on the menu). Steak came out covered in pepper sauce…with onions. The waiter was in denial because he did not want to tell his boss that he messed up. My daughter ate the steak after removing all of the sauce. The waiter then brought out cold/hard herb butter….we didn’t use it. Go somewhere else. Read the negative reviews. They have a “monopoly” based on their location, but the quality of the food and service is not worth it. They specialize in stone oven pizza. The pizza is bland and probably one of the least “tastier” pizzas I have had in Germany. A Euro frozen pizza has more seasoning on it…more taste."

"14:45 Uhr - Ankunft im Burg- Restaurant Landhausküche in Trier-Saarburg. Nach 10min Wartezeit kam der Kellner und wollte schon die Bestellung aufnehmen. Da wir noch keine Karte bekommen haben, mussten wir leider warten bis der "Kellner" uns eine gebracht hat. Die Auswahl fiel uns leicht, da die Karte wirklich sehr klein war. Die Wartezeit von der Bestellung bis zum Tisch hielt sich im Rahmen. Die Bedienung könnte aber etwas freundlicher und Professioneller sein. Das Essen an sich (Rindersteak mit Tomatenöl) hat sehr lecker geschmeckt, wenn auch die Portion sehr klein war. Ein Beilagensalat musste man extra dazu bestellen und die Pommes die mit angereicht wurden, waren etwas zu wenig. Für knapp 20€ kann man mehr erwarten. Das Besteck war nicht poliert und wies Wasserflecken auf. Als wir neues Besteck verlangten brachte man uns leider ein Messer zu wenig, so das ich mir mein Messer mit meiner Frau teilen musste. Gegen 15:33 Uhr haben wir das Lokal verlassen, auf ein Dessert haben wir verzichtet. Fazit: Geschmack Top, Service Flop..!!"

"Was gut war: Das Essen ist top Mit Liebe fürs Detail angerichtet und wirklich sehr lecker und schmackhaft. Was nicht überzeugend war: Trotz ausreichend Servicepersonal musste man immer darauf aufmerksam machen, das man noch etwas bestellen möchte! Wir haben vor 4 Wochen schon den Tisch bestellt und es lag keine Reservierung für uns vor. Cocktails wie Aperol Sprizz oder Mojito wurden lauwarm und wirklich mit schlechtem Geschmack serviert. Service wurde mehrfach von uns darauf hingewiesen, jedoch hat man nicht, aber wirklich überhaupt nicht darauf reagiert! Fazit: Wir werden das Restaurant wegen dem bescheidenen Service nicht mehr besuchen, jedoch hat das Essen überzeugt und eine Bestellung ist es auf jeden Fall wert. Bei diesen Preisen erwarte ich eine Reaktion auf Kritik vor Ort und nicht, dass es weggelächelt wird und dann frech und Rezensionen kommentiert wird."

"Owner and chef Wolfgang presents an excellent table with Michelin star quality food! Ably assisted by his wife in the front of house. The dining room setting is elegant and overlooking the Saar river. The wine list offers a wide range of German white wines...that call out for fish to enjoy with them, and the foie gras was some of the best I've eaten anywhere! There are other wines besides the excellent Moselle selection of you prefer. We were there for Sunday lunch and were fortunate enough to have Wolfgang personally guide us through the menu selections. This is the second visit (we discovered this gem on a trip through the area in and had to come back. We were not disappointed!! Recommend without hesitation..."
